These are pretty cheap and flimsy feeling, but are sufficient for kickball, tball, or backyard games on grass. The fact that they're lightweight and can be rolled up and thrown in an equipment bag makes them a good option for practices or activities at the park or away from where they'll be stored. They don't have any grip on the bottom so they work much better on grass than they do on dirt. There are certainly better quality throw down bases available, but at this price point this is a great option.

Durability and Performance: For casual use, the rubber material holds up well. We’ve used them on grass and dirt several times, and they haven’t shown signs of cracking or splitting. They’re also easy to clean, even after dusty practices or muddy games. They stay in place fairly well on grass and dirt, though they can shift a little if someone hits them at full speed. The One Downside – Thickness: The main reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the thickness. The bases are thinner than I expected. They feel a bit flimsy compared to league-grade bases, and in windy conditions, they sometimes blow around unless we weigh them down a bit. Also, during more aggressive play, they can slide slightly when players step on them hard. We absolutely love these in our house!! We use them for so many different games. Baseball, kickball, tag, etc. The uses are truly limitless! I’ve also been very impressed by the quality. They’ve stood up to rain, heat, and a lot of rough play. I’m truly impressed and they provide hours of fun!

Very nice! Great price and exactly what i needed for bases in a kickball game on a grass field. WAY safer and better than using makeshift items lke cardboard or whatever else you can find for bases. Nice grip, easy to roll up and store.

The bases are lightweight foldable rubber which is a good thing but the way they were packaged the rubber was permanently creased which means the bases wouldn’t lay flat and the kids were catching their toes and flipping them around. I’ll be returning these.
