Extra Emollient Night Cream 2.1 oz.

I am new to this product, but I’m finding so many uses for it. I get very chapped and dry hands in the winter. No creams or ointments work to keep them from wrinkling or getting cracked until I started using this. I thought my face was too oily for this cream, I had been using the Timewise line for oily/combination skin. I am healing from a sunburn, and this cream is wonderfully soothing on my face now that my sunburn is starting to crack and peel. It’s actually not too heavy for my face oily skin, it feels that way at first, but soaks in after a few minutes. Now my face is silky and soft. I recently had surgery and the skin around my incisions was very dry and irritated from antiseptics and tape. Now I’m using this cream not on my scar, but around the general area to heal the irritated skin around it. This cream also healed a spot where my post surgical compression garment had left red marks from being so tight and rubbing against my skin. When I put this on my fine under eye lines (I’m only 32), they puff and my skin looks like it did when I was a teenager. I just don’t like the smell. It is very flowery, it reminds me of my grandma. I have sensitive skin and the fragrance doesn’t cause my typical skin rash, but on my face, the smell bothers my eyes and is a bit overpowering to my nose. Otherwise it’s such a great cream; I am happy that I found it. I asked my friends’ mothers who have nice skin what they use, and most of them said they started using Mary Kay in their 20’s. That was the proof that I needed that their products do as they promise, and have never been disappointed.

This product is literally the best product you can have in your collection. It's useful for many things, ideal for applying to burns to improve the skin, and I personally use it to moisturize my skin so it always looks perfect.

First let me clarify by saying, I would like to technically rate this product a 4.5 because of the smell. It kind of smells like "pennies" or "old lady" as my boyfriend would say. But it doesn't bother me and it wasn't bad enough to knock off one star. But that's it for a "negative" issue... Now, for the good stuff! I am a health care worker and this product saves my hands. I wash my hands at least 50 times a shift and when I get home they were very dry and cracked and sometimes painful. I began using this product at night about a year ago and recently began to use it in the mornings as well. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin through-out the day even with the continuous washings. I have even started using it on my feet, but it hasn't been long enough to tell a significant long term difference (only about a week and in winter and not EVERY DAY...the TRUE test will be in summer when I break out my sandals!), but the short term is VERY nice! I have small hands (I wear XS exam gloves or little girl gloves) and I use about a nickel size amount each time. One tube has lasted me about one year give or take a few days and that's just my hands. It will probably go faster now that I am using it on my feet, but it's worth it. If anyone has ever used Aquaphor the consistency is very similar but this absorbs faster in my opinion and even if you wash your hands right after applying it, they still stay soft. Of course, I would recommend allowing your hands to completely absorb it before washing them if you can. While it leave a small greasy residue directly after applying (and that is based on the amount you apply and how long you rub it in) it quickly absorbs into the skin leaving your hands very soft!

Have been using it for years. It’s like a miracle emollient. Softens skin. Heals blemishes in no time. A little goes a long way.

Use on my entire body at night & my hands doing the day. Soft.

Good product

This is very thick and works well. It has a strong scent which I like, husband does not! It takes a while to soak into skin which might be off putting for some, but I use it mostly at night so it works for me. Softens hands which is why I use it.

This is the only Cream I found to take care of the horrible dry skin on my feet. I realize it's a facial cream and I do use it also on my face but with the edema on my legs and the swelling of my feet, my skin was just flaking off almost like looking like dried oatmeal, this definitely did the trick. I loved it for my hands, my feet.My face and sometimes I even put it on my arms. It is a very thick cream, so you're wasting absolutely nothing.You just squeeze out what you need and a little bit goes a long way!!,
