Rhode Island Novelty Water Warblers One Dozen

This was just the thing I was looking for as and Easter basket stuffer. These are the same plastic bird whistle things I remember as a kid! I don't remember them getting water everywhere as a child though, maybe I just didn't care but we use these as an outside toy in our home

Very cheap, bad construction, mild (not good for that toy) plastic, doesnt work without water at all, (it should whistling without water and warbling \chirping with water), sprinkling water around when you blow....Not for kids - because need blow VERY strong and use specific angle to make sound.Photo not made from toy what seller sending to the customers, photo taken from different bird whistles, better quality - because they -on photo - dont have crooked whistle stick -they straight, and holes from the side looks like have triangle shape, and ends of sticks smooth.Real whistles what they send for customers - DOES have a bit crooked whistle sticks and holes on them not angle holes and ends of sticks not smooth - they can hurt your lips, actually.

Cheaper version of the old toy I loved as a kid. Still works but some have issues with leaking. For the price I can't complain. Gave me the sound and the memory I was looking for

I purchased these for a trinket to treasure that went along with a Bible study I was leading, speaking of how we can be so blessed by Christian music! the gals were so excited about them. I had to show them how to dip them in water and make them warble, some of them were to young to know what they were all about. Thank you for having these available to me.

These are very cheap Communist China copies of the real thing. It’s like they bought one and tried to make molds off of the original so it doesn’t have the beak and about 25% of them or broken in the box and they don’t work near as well is the real original that they stole the mold from.

Fun for bath time or playing your kiddy pool. A little water in them and they chirp like a bird. I bought my first ones 35 years ago for my first child. All children love these

These did not work! Of 6 I unwrapped only 2 whistle at all. I had to hold them underwater for a pretty long time to get them to fill with water, AND then you have to hold them at an extreme angle (think chin to chest AND bend all the way forward) for anything resembling "warbling" to happen. They are a very thin plastic, and the "beak" is just a hole in the front of the face. It is not fully punched through on many of the whistles, but if you poke it with a pen or toothpick it opens up a little and makes the warbling work better.
