Its been a month or so since I got this and so far its perfect! When you smell it from the box it initially almost smells like grandma's flowery soap, but it smells much better when its actually wet and in use. I'd much rather prefer citrus or earthy scents, but this isn't bad and honestly the more I use it the more I like it.Im white and have thick, wavy hair thats grown out to my mid back. So far it feels and looks healthier than it has in a while and compared to the last shampoo bar I used, which seemed to simultaneously strip it completely and leave a ton of residue while making it a tangled mess, this leaves my hair feeling clean, soft, and moisturized. Ive definitely noticed that its looking shinier and a lot easier to manage. Recently Ive been blowing the waves out of my hair so Ive only been wearing it straight, but it seems to just 'sit' better, if you know what I mean.I love it so far and am disappointed that I contemplated this purchase for so long. Not to mention I got a worse bar of shampoo for nearly triple the price before finally trying this one! You cannot beat 3.96 for a sulfate free shampoo bar that'll last you a good long time!

This is the first & only shampoo bar I’ve tried, so I was hesitant. Honestly, I tried it because it seemed to be the biggest bar of shampoo for the cheapest price, at less than $5. I read the reviews & decided it was worth the risk. I tried it for the first time tonight... the scent is lovely, the bar suds up well, it washes out nicely, and the bar is a substantially sized heart. In fact, it’s too big for my travel soap dish. Now dry, my (colored) hair is soft, fluffy, voluminous & far less weighted down than it has been with my liquid shampoo. I did not use conditioner because I wanted to see what the results would be from the bar, alone. I have decided to subscribe to this shampoo bar because I truly am impressed with the results, along with the fact that it’ll create less plastic waste.

This is the second shampoo bar I've tried. The first brand I tried left my hair feeling dry so I wanted something that purported to be more moisturizing. This bar fits the bill. The lather is creamier and my hair feels softer afterwards (although I do use a separate conditioner). The scent is pleasant, but it is STRONG. My whole bathroom smelled like this product after it arrived, just sitting in its box on the shelf. It's faded a bit after a few weeks, but it is very strong. I like the scent just fine, so I don't mind too much, although it doesn't smell much like roses. It doesn't stick around in my hair, which is fine.It's a nice hefty bar, but the shape is very inconvenient. The heart is cute, but doesn't fit in either of my travel soap boxes (and not having to carry shampoo bottles is one of my reasons for using solid shampoo in the first place). Once it's been used and shrinks down, it'll fit, but it's quite frustrating that this bar isn't very portable right out of the box.The price is great, especially compared to other shampoo bars that are twice the price or more. It's a good value.Pros: Less drying than other brands, nice creamy lather, rinses easily, smells nice, scent doesn't linger in my hair much, inexpensiveCons: The shape is inconvenient and doesn't fit in a travel soap box, the scent is VERY strong

I’ve been trying to be more eco-friendly and purchase items without plastic lately. I have bought a LUSH shampoo bar before, and absolutely loved it so I decided to give other companies a chance. The scent is not something I usually go for. I prefer tropical flowers over rose garden types. I opened the box and immediately thought I was going to struggle with the scent. I gave it a try though and was pleasantly surprised after a few uses. At first thought, I loved the shape and feel of this bar. It’s easy to grip and seems to hold up fairly well. The soapy feel threw me off a bit. It also seemed to be less moisturizing than my LUSH bar. But, after a few times using this, my hair felt so light and my layers were pretty happy with it. The scent faded away and doesn’t bother me at all anymore. I love this product. I still mix it up with my LUSH one when I want to add more moisture to my hair vs. airy/soft feeling. My hair usually gets oily pretty easily and this doesn’t add to it at all. For the price also, you can’t beat it!One suggestion to Amazon/Love Beauty & Planet:Don’t wrap this in plastic to ship it. The box the bar is in protects the product enough that you don’t need to add plastic around it and then put it in a box or shipping bag. I was disappointed seeing this, as one of the main points this company sells is not using plastic for products. Change this please!

It does tend to leave my hair slightly greasy (I usually have dry as hell hair) so I have to wash my hair at least 2x in the same round of showering but otherwise it has a good smell, definally gets all the dirt out of my hair, has a nice texture and is easy to use.
