The best solution to sweaty toilet tank!!!
The toilet tank in my master bath sweats no matter what I would do. Insulating the tank had zero effect, heat or a fan had zero effect and don't get me started on the valve that brings in warm water...zero effect!!! The constant replacement of towels to catch the sweat, constant cleaning and constant waste of money, time and energy to keep the toilet tank dry was irritating! I only wish that I knew about this years ago! I highly recommend this if you're in the same boat I was in. This works so amazing, easy to use, doesn't make any noise and fits perfectly! The initial charge lasted about 1 month which is great and recharging it took about 6 hours. The toilet tank sweated while this was recharging but within about 30 minutes of re hanging this the tank was dry again before any sweat made it to the floor! I'll definitely buy more... they'd almost make the perfect Christmas gift 🤣

Works great in small, enclosed spaces
I purchased this hoping to keep the excessive moisture buildup in my safe under control and couldn't be happier! About a year ago I purchased a First Alert fire proof/waterproof safe, which has an airtight seal. After I got it and read the instruction manual I found out that they state that the fireproofing materials used in the safe cause excessive moisture to build up inside the safe and suggest opening the safe on a regular basis and leaving it open to allow it to air out. This is obviously (at least for me) not practical since I got the safe to keep money and other valuables safe. I shrugged off their warning about opening it and placed my items inside and rarely opened it. I found out after several months that my money and other paperwork was very damp and smelled like mildew. So, then I started opening the safe more frequently, which did not help at all,, considering I live in Georgia where the humidity is already very high (so opening the safe just exposes it to similarly damp air.) The moisture was so bad inside the safe that liquid would actually pool on the bottom after being closed for extended periods of time. I then tried placing items inside ziplock bags, which did not work. Then purchased dry bags designed for keeping items dry when boating, etc, and even tried glass storage containers with ridgid plastic lids with gasket seals to place items in (this is what the manufacturer recommends). The dry bags didn't work and moisture still managed to work its way in. The storage containers worked better, but not perfectly. Then I purchased this Eva-dry E-333, which is the small one. I figured I didn't have that much to lose, considering that it doesn't cost very much. Well, I wish this had been my first purchase as this item works! The day I recieved it, I opened the safe and noted that there again was some liquid accumulated on the bottom. I placed the Eve-dry inside, along with the packing slip that came with it (to see how the piece of paper did being left inside the safe). I checked back the next day around the same time and all the moisture on the bottom was gone and paper was still crisp and dry. I then left it closed for several weeks and then checked again. This time I noted that the crystals had started to change colors (they were purple-ish-pink) and safe was still dry and paper still crisp and dry also. I then removed the Eva-dry and plugged it in to refresh it. The next morning the crystals were all blue again and I returned it to the safe. I had no problems with the plug or it falling out of the outlets. I does have a good bit of weight to it compared to a normal cord or power supply; however, if your outlets are good you shouldn't have any trouble. I had all of mine replaced about 8 years ago because many of the old outlets would not hold plugs well in general. If you have outlets like that, this thing will never stay connected, but not really a fault of the product. Using a power strip would also work fine, if needed. Bottom line - It works for my needs (small, enclosed space), you don't have to buy refills, and it's very affordable. I wouldn't recommend this to dehumidify a room, closet, etc, as I seriously doubt it would be that effective under those conditions. The reason I say that is that I've used regular electric dehumidifiers before, which are capable of removing a couple gallons of water every few days and although they make a difference in overal comfort, even those don't do much to lower the actual relative humidity reading within the space.

Impressive Little Gadget
I have a closet on the ground floor where the air has been feeling a bit damp and smelling just a little moldy since this spring, when we had such heavy rains that even the ever-present bucket of Damp-Rid wasn't able to keep up. As spring turned to summer, I kept thinking that the problem would take care of itself, but it didn't. So I did a little research here at amazon for small dehumidifiers and picked the Eva-Dry Renewable because I like the idea of being able to use it over and over. I bought it at the end of July. When it arrived, I put it in the closet, hanging from the clothes rod. At first I checked for signs of the blue balls turning pink every couple of days but I finally gave that up and just left the thing alone for about a month. As time went on, it seemed to me that I was feeling less moisture coming from the closet. Just a few days ago I had to go into the closet for something and when I opened the doors, it felt DRY in there! First time since the spring!! And the blue balls had turned completely pink! I know a lot of people talk about testing the humidity in the air with hygrometers, but in an area as large as a closet, I think you can just tell. I mean, I could sure tell when it turned damp. So why wouldn't I be able to tell when it went back to being dry (or at least, noticeably drier)? I read in some reviews that the unit can get pretty hot when recharging, so I made sure to plug it in only on a day I knew I would be home to keep watch. I plugged it in around 10am and by 6pm the balls appeared to have turned back to blue. The unit did get hot, and I was relieved that I hadn't needed to leave it plugged in any longer. The UL sticker has a note that says, "It is normal that mild heat is generated during recharging," but it didn't seem all that mild to me. This is the only thing that makes me slightly uncomfortable about the Eva-Dry Renewable. I deducted one star because of it. I am about to go put the Eva-dry back in the closet and start the cycle over again. I'll come back here in a few months for an update, as it is approaching the rainy season where I live and I'm curious to see how the Eva-Dry works after having been recharged. SEPTEMBER 29 -- BACK AS PROMISED: I put the Eva-Dry back in the closet after the first recharge. This time the product worked, I felt, even faster and better than the first time. The closet stayed dry, the balls turned pink a bit faster. The second recharge took less time -- but I'm still uncomfortable amount the amount of heat generated in the process and feel that 4 stars is the right rating. FIVE YEARS LATER: Unit still going strong. And I stopped worrying about the heat generated in the recharge process. The absolute only problem I have now is that I keep forgetting the unit is there and sometimes leave it having way too long before I recharge it. No harm done, just, it can't do much good if I don't recharge it as soon as I see the balls are all pink.

Surprisingly effective!
Works surprisingly well in my small bathroom! Not having to use an outlet to function is great! It comes with a small hook on the unit - like a coat hanger - which allows hanging on a towel rack or other mounted surface. Small in size and easily placed somewhere without being distracting. Seems to collect a good amount of moisture and I find I can get three or four showers before it needs to be “recharged” by plugging into a wall outlet. The recharging process seems to take over night for a full recharge. Recommended for areas where moisture could be an issue!

Cost effective- no need to buy refills for the disposable dehumidifiers Cordless - perfect for the bathroom Quick dry - the gels dry within 4 hours of plugging into the main Worked in every room. The bathroom was my biggest headache and I assumed we willneed two of these cubes, but one was sufficient. Colour changing is accurate. I now have one in every room. You’ll need a UK plug converter but apart from that, it's worth every penny. I tried every other brand but non worked like the Eva dry. I wished I had discovered this sooner. I would have saved myself a fortune. Brilliant 👏 quality

Love this thing. Went back & bought 2 more. I'll probably buy more. Initially bought for a basement bathroom which is on the colder/danker side. Works really well, but keep in mind it's designed for *really* small spaces, like small bathrooms, laundry rooms, closets, etc. Make sure you don't overcharge it. I did this by leaving it plugged in for MONTHS at a time because I liked the heat it was giving off as it was warming up my small bathroom, but that will damage its ability to take out moisture. That was my fault for not reading instructions, however, it worked out for me because I'd rather have the heat it gives off than have it act as a mini-dehumdifier, lol. (At least in the bathroom.) Charge for no more than 12 h in a different area than the one you want to use it in. (The dryer the room you're charging it in, the better.) I also keep one in my laundry room as it's attached to a cold room as well as one in my utility room. I'll probably buy 2 more - one for a closet in the corner of the basement and another for a very deep shoe closet. Also, I brought it when I went oversees & it was perfect for keeping luggage less moist. Was unable to charge it there because the adapter I bought didn't really accommodate the pull out plug, but it functioned well for most of the trip. Will be AWESOME for camping. If you're a camper, get this thing.

Rekommenderas!!
