Dunlop Shell Medium Thumbpicks - 4 Pack

Nice grippy thumb picks. A snug on my thumb, but I'm not going to deduct a star because I have big fingers.

These picks are super! I love playing my guitar with this pick. It fits my finger perfectly, and it helps me produce great sounds and tricks. It's more expensive than others but it's worth it.

As Described

When I took up the banjo recently, I bought some metal fingerpicks and grabbed the thumb pick I was using when I played slide guitar. It was designed to be a combination flat/thumb pick. I found this difficult to use while learning Scruggs style banjo. The Dunlop pick is a bit longer; I am missing far fewer notes now. (Maybe because I have more practice?) For the record, I find large picks unsuitable. These medium picks are a little tight but not uncomfortable.

Previously: Even though these are 'medium', tbey were too tight for me. I also got the Dunlop medium Ultex picks and they were fine. The Shell type is much stiffer material and so the fit has to be close to perfect for it work. So these are probably great if they fit well, but there's less margin for error. Update: this morning, these fit better than the Ultex, which were too loose! So it's my thumb, not the pick, and I take back my comment above, but I do suggest getting both kinds in case you have the same problem. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because I need a pick with a shorter pointy end, but this was the best I could find. I've found that other musicians have the same need, liking their pick the best when it's worn down quite a bit. I could not find such a pick anywhere.

Good quality and great sound. Takes a bit of getting used to if you have never used these before, but the tight fit and great smooth surface makes them a joy to use.

Meine Hände und Finger sind eher klein (S), bestenfalls von mittlerer Größe (M). Vorsichtshalber habe ich M bestellt, aber auch die waren viel zu klein. Letztendlich hat die Größe L (perfekt) gepasst. Ich bin absolut zufrieden damit und wüsste nicht, wie es noch besser geht.

Dunlop gör de bästa tumpicksen och de finns i tre storlekar S, M och L. Jag har relativt små händer och M passar mig perfekt.

Fácil manejo, un poco rígida, pero para mi genial, según pasan los días me siento más cómodo con ella. Oprime lo necesario, si fuese menor la presión que ejerce sobre el dedo se me movería.
