Is it really safe to use on concrete sidewalk and driveway?

I have used it for 2 Chicago winters and our concrete is safe and sound, and so are the paws on our German shepherd.

Will this product damage flagstone/bluestone set in concrete.

I don’t believe it would. It’s pretty safe overall..hope this helps

I have used another de-icer that tracks residue h to our home and all over the floors. Does this one track a chalky residue?

I did not detect anything in the floors this year while using this product. It did a great job melting the snow and prevented ice from forming on our wood deck as well as our rock aggregate front steps. This product performed as advertised for us.

Worth it!

This was great for my stoop and front of house. It’s melted the ice and snow and did not leave a white residue or bring a trail of debris in my house. A little pricey but definitely worth it.

Melts ice well.

Used this with our recent ice then snow . Putting it on ice even when it's below freezing, began melting the ice right away, and as long as the sun was out , the melted ice /water evaporated or dried. Heavier areas with snow it didn't do as much, but then it's ice melter, not snow remover.After shoveling the snow, I put this on the remaining ice that was stuck on the driveway, and it melted that well.This product seems to just disappear when it's used . No residue to track in the house, it's just gone. I like that.I guess if you have thicker ice, you can use more, or reapply. My experience was positive. Didn't seem to harm my concrete in any way either. Hope that stays true.

Works great, tad pricey

This is fantastic! I throw it down on my porch and walkways and it really does keep them clear. If course if it’s going to be several inches you will need to reapply, but it really was a HUGE help with keeping my porch and walkways clear. A bit pricey though.

Greate Job!!

This works great and almost instantly. I intend to purchase more for next winter. Could not believe how fast it worked and it won't hurt my n ew driveway. This type of melt was recommended and is really good.

Safe for my pet

Bought this because of my pet. I've used it once this winter. Was below 10 degrees and this still melted the ice. So far this has been a grest purchase. I don't expect that to change. I will update reveiw if anything strange happens.

Melts snow, but very pricy and takes a lot to melt it

We bought this to test out the non-toxic ice/snow salts out there. We haven't yet found one we like and are specifically looking for a non-toxic one that melts well and is a good value. This definitely melts but requires a lot of salt for a little area. So, this bag barely lasted us 2 snow days worth for our outdoor steps (only 4 steps). I also want to mention it takes a bit to work (about 30 mins to an hour to melt the ice)Pros:-Non-toxic-Melts snow and ice-Easy to useCons:-Expensive-Takes a while to work-Requires a large amount to do the job
