great python and programming book from best teachers
Excellent book both for python and for programming design and understanding.Fluent explanations, many interesting examples. Q/A session also very good.One minus thing is a using a book python module for examples

Very appropriate book for learning Computer Science through Python.
This book is not a Python book. It is a book that teaches programming through the vehicle of Python. It does a great job at that.

Caution for INDIAN version, not international or for in the US
This book is for INDIAN version, which is printed with just a bad laser printer and smelled like something bad carbon printed. It seems to have the original book PDF-printed. Do Not Buy this book if you want orignial US version.The BIG problem is that whenever you read this book, you smell bad from it, which causes lung disease.

Very good, particularly if you're interested in an algorithmic approach to Python.

Not as good as the java version
Great book, but the programs are all sort of ugly, using weird non-pythonic codes, more like an artifact of the book being "translated" from Java. Excellent explanation of the algorithms etc. nevertheless.

Great Used Book
The book is great. It’s in good condition. Although I wasn’t expecting it to be used when I bought it, I thought it was brand new. I realized it was used once I saw a couple written notes in a different language. Luckily it was with a pencil so I can just erase it. Other than that I’m great condition.
