These are very good quality and exceptionally comfy. They are not thick, more like dress sock weight but because of the quality of the wool they are not flimsy like dress socks so they will stand up to wear in boots and for wearing around the house without socks. So beautiful. I wash in the machine but I do hang dry. I have used the dryer in the past and that works too, but they loose some of that smooth fine feeling as the fibers get tight from the dryer. Eventually hope to replace all my cheaper socks with these as they seem to last longer, especially in the heel.

After the recent historic ice storm in Texas, I decided to buy wool socks. So I ordered these. I'm so very glad I did! They are warm and soft and so comfortable. I've already ordered another pair. But I'm praying no more ice storms.

They are great. Smooth and thin. So many wool socks are too bulky to wear with most shoes. I ended up returning though because the navy is so dark it looks black. But not. Plan to get actual black ones.

Falke socks are both comfortable and cozy. They make up most of what I wear on my feet.

I've been wearing theses socks for the last couple years. While expensive, they are comfortable and very durable. Now I only want to wear them.

Based on the description, I was expecting the thickness/weight of at least a dress sock; this was not the case. It is extremely thin! I immediately thought of the sock liners I wear under ski socks. If you're unfamiliar with those, then I would say this is closer to a trouser sock; in between nylons and dress socks. I'm not sure how these could be 'lined with mesh' since they are so thin. They fit very snuggly as well; almost restrictive. And they aren't what I would consider calf socks either. They came above ankle but barely up to where the calf begins. The quality appeared good; seams well made. Overall, not a 'bad' sock, if expectations were set correctly by description.

Love these sock and will definitely get another pair! Warm and fit well and wash up very nice!

These socks are very comfortable. I ordered them in blue and brown. The elastic holds the socks up but is not tight. They solve the problem of wanting warm.socks to wear with close fitting winter footwear, but without the bulk. They keep their shape and have survived some occasions where I have washed them at 40 degrees by mistake!
