Equal to, if not better than, an Eno.. at 1/3 the price
Always wanted a Eno hammock, and planned on buying one. Came onto amazon to do so, and found a plethora of competitors, boasting money back refunds and comparable high quality products. did a little digging and found overwhelmingly positive reviews for most products. I was going to buy one for 20something but felt somehow uneasy and decided I was more comfortable with this 30something dollar purchase, since I was going to be hanging in it suspended over the ground. The fact that the straps are included is HUGE. An Eno is around 70 I believe, and you gotta buy the straps for an extra 20, so you're looking at almost a hundred dollar hammock. a damn nice one indeed, but for 35 bucks, this is an exceptional product, and I quite honestly would be unable to tell the difference in a parachute hammock shoot-out between this and an Eno, and probably most of these other amazon hammocks. Overall, I love this thing and read in it almost every day. Super comfy, great quality, strong straps, really easy to use and hang up, and my favorite part is that it folds up incredibly easy into the attached pocket/pouch. Well done, Honest Outfitters. I appreciate the offer, but I will not be following up on that money-back guarantee.

Happy Campers
I purchased this ha-mmock last week from Amazon, for a camping trip over the weekend of August 18-20 on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. My wife, my seven year old daughter, and I knew we would be doing some lounging at the campsite and we usually bring our more traditional style hammock, but wanted something a little more portable this time in case we wanted to hike closer to the lake and do some lounging there. My wife borrowed a single nylon hammock from a coworker (not sure of the brand, but I know it wasn't Honest Outfitters), and your double arrived the Thursday before we left, which meant no time for a test run; it would just have to be field tested. We arrived at the campsite and I first set up the other, single hammock. It was fairly simple, though the tree straps were nylon ropes, which tended to slip about a half inch each after my daughter got in, but then they remained tight. The straps included with your double hammock, however, were much more simple and easier to adjust, which made it a breeze to get all set up. Once hung, it was easy enough to get into and out of without fear of tipping (a problem we've run into with our more traditional hammock). It wasn't long before I had fallen asleep in your hammock with my daughter sharing the space, reading a book. When we did eventually go on our hike to the lake, we brought both hammocks. Again, the straps provided with the Honest Outfitters double hammock are very easy to adjust, meaning set up for that was quick. My wife and daughter were already enjoying swaying in the breeze while I was still trying to find the right adjustment for the other hammock. All in all, I would say that the hammocks themselves were very similar; equally comfortable and portable, but the advantage has to go to the Honest Outfitters hammock for the following reasons:1. The tree straps. These go quickly around the tree and, with the multiple loops, make adjusting the hammock to the perfect height and tension between the two trees incredibly easy. And though I saw on Amazon that the single hammock does not come with the multi-looped strap, I have to imagine that even the single looped strap would be easier than the nylon rope that came with the other hammock.2. Storage. Both hammocks fold into the pouches that hang on the side of the hammock, but only the Honest Outfitters bag has the adjustable clasp that makes the bag smaller. The other hammock (and others I have seen) usually just go into the bag which is then cinched, and many of them don't have room for the tree straps.3. Price. I did some quick comparison shopping, and found the Honest Outfitters to have the best price to average rating ratio on Amazon, and after trying it out for three days of camping, moving it several times, I can say that I am completely satisfied with the product, and would recommend the brand to anyone who may ask for advice. I am planning on purchasing the single hammock or maybe even another double to add to our camping supplies.Thank you so much for putting what is clearly a lot of thought into the design of your hammock. You have made a family of three into three very happy campers!

Can Hold a ton of Weight - Great Buy
I looked at a ton of different hammocks, but finally decided on this one for my fiancé and I because of the higher weight limited. I'm about 140 lbs and he's somewhere around 230 lb. We sat in this, with our 60 lb dog, without any sort of problem. It is a bit difficult to lay facing the same direction, because the sides close over you. If you face opposite directions though, it didn't feel so tight. Although, my fiancé has a pretty large frame, so it may work better for two smaller people. We found, for us, it was the most comfortable to use it as a swing - to sit with our backs on one side and our feet dangling out of the other. We will definitely take it on all of our camping trips. For the price, I'm incredibly impressed.

Nice product, but a few minor complaints/notes.
I got the grey/blue (more of a dark charcoal grey, compared to the "royal/grey" with a lighter grey) in the "double" (78" x 118") size.- The blue color is on the lighter/paler side. In the first pic, it's more like the bag, than the blue on the open hammock which looks a few shades darker/deeper. I was hoping for that slightly darker hue, which looks a bit more modern and stylish compared to the lighter hue. It's one of those hues/colors that are difficult to get right in a photograph. The particular lighting may be a factor too.- Doing a bit of research, it was often mentioned the wider "double" size was preferred, as it was more spacious and comfy, so that's what I went with. I'm 5'8", average build, and the double feels kind of big - where I often end up fully wrapped up like an enchilada, compared to cradled with an open top like a soft taco. I've only used it briefly thus far, but I wonder if that depends on how big you are, and/or if it has to do with the hanging angles. I've also read it's suggested to lay slightly diagonal, like at 10° off center, which I tried, but it still felt a bit engulfing.- The carabiner is a bit on the heavy side (62.4g). I swapped mine out with 25g Metolius FS Mini II wiregate carabiners you can get for about $6/ea, plus they open wider, making it easier to clip in/out, and they have fewer sharp edges. The included biner feels slightly rough on the open end (potentially too rough if QA slacks off too much) opposite the hinge, which I think may be a possible factor for those hammocks that've ripped (since they're stuffed in with the rest of the hammock, possibly rubbing against fabric, causing wear). Not dinging anything off for this, just a possible upgrade for people and/or the manufacturer. I'm sure there are cheaper wiregate carabiner options at the factory, as a few of the other similar hammocks on Amazon come with them.Otherwise, the build quality seems nice so far, and it's a great value considering that it comes with straps, PLUS the straps easily fit in the bag so everything stays together.

Good quality and good value so far! Fast delivery and in perfect condition.
Our first hammock and we just tried it out camping up northern Ontario in Algonquin Park! We were both impressed with it's ability to hold us up (one at at time though). Not sure I would trust for two heavy people like ourselves. I am handicapped with fused spine and it was comfortable for me! A little awkward to get into, and I can't sit with my legs dangling because it hurts behind my knees too much, but was great to lay in. We only used it for short periods of time for relaxing outside. We didn't test it for overnight yet. It did get wet from rain but dried out quickly. We were impressed, as I said, in the strength of the hardware, but we could see the nylon ripping very easily if a pointy object came into contact with it, so be aware (empty your back pockets of your comb or folding knife). Will possibly purchase again.1

Great value
As someone who camps a lot with Scouting, hammock camping is my preferred method. I bought this hammock to replace my existing one. The material is perfect and the craftsmanship is excellent. For the price listed, I was really impressed with the straps that came with it. It’s an extremely easy to use setup. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, to the point that I have recommended it to my son and he has already purchased it.

Great hammock
This is a nice, inexpensive hammock. We worried that it might be hot, but it is cool and breezy. It dries quickly. The straps are secure and do not hurt the tree. If I had a spot for another one, I would buy another one of these.

Worth every Penny
We can fit two adult's and one little Weiner dog in here comfortably and securely. Super easy to put up with one person and quickly. Packs away into bag so that it is super small and easy to carry. Price cannot be beat compared to competitors and big chain brands. Would repurchase in a second.

Excellent product! Love it!
Absolutely love this hammock! Product is very well made and the straps to hang it from are long and strong with multiple double stitched loops to hook onto, making it easier to find a spot between two trees. Light weight and so easy to unpack and setup. Thank you Honest Outfitters! I will be ordering more for the family!
