The problem is there was no way to fully clean the rope and it turned moldy. After seeing someone's suggestion to remove the rope and use golf balls I decided to try these. Lucy is blind in one eye and can only see light and shadow in the other, so I decide a ball that lights up would be perfect. They are super bright and work great, the only reason I put 4 out of five stars is because you really have to wack it for it to light up.
