Review: Sturdy and undamaged - Given reviews of so many propagation domes saying "much flimsier than I anticipated" I was ready to be underwhelmed. I was half-expecting celophane-thin clamshell-type plastic but was very happy with the thick, rigid structure. I can see that it is brittle enough to be damaged during shipping, but mine was not. After fretting through so many product reviews, I will not hesitate to order this one again when I need more capacity.

A: 7 1/4 inches from the floor to the vents

**Q: Does the tray have holes in the bottom?**
A: No. Completely solid base.

**Q: Do you make extensions to make the clear plastic dome higher from the base.  Need more room for my small plants.  These are just a bit to short**
A: This is made for starting seeds and cloning. I'm not sure what small plants would need it but you'll have to find a higher profile dome which will probably also have a larger tray. Good luck

This little unit is pretty nice taking into consideration the cost and utility. It does the job without spending loads of money. I read some complaints of receiving the unit broken, but mine was perfect. It is not flimsy and even though the top doesn't lock down, it sits snugly on the base with a little ledge. The vents work,but aren't anything tonwrite home about. All in all...pretty good.
