Best investment for my dogs!
I bought this to make my own dog treats and use up some of the extra eggs we have on the homestead. This has been the best investment I have made for my dogs and their training! Over 400 treats can be made from one sheet, this has paid for itself in less than a month compared to buying commercial dog treats! The mat is super easy to clean in hot soapy water. It's too floppy to put in the dishwasher but you might be able to lay it flat on the top rack. Due to the thin and floppy nature of the baking mat/mold tray you need to put it on a large baking sheet to use it. With the dog treat recipe(s) we use it is easy to pour onto the mat then spread across the molds with a silicone spatula. A little goes a long way! We freeze the excess and make treats for the week that we keep in the fridge but you could have multiple molds in the oven baking and freeze the extra treats and defrost them as you need them for training. The treats are easy to remove from the tray just lift the silicone mat although I have only tried it for making dog treats not for anything else so some recipes or foods may be harder to remove from the tray. We use variations of 1 can sardines in oil, 3-4 eggs, 1/4 cup cheese, 1 cup whole wheat flour mixed in a food processor to make a batter. We sometimes add cooked veggies, change the sardines to chicken or other meat and some broth. Pour onto the mat and bake at 375F for about 20 mins. The treats puff up and are easy to come out of the tray. The treats it makes are small so it is great for my dogs and all the training we are doing together. I work with my dogs everyday so we go through a lot of treats! I would recommend this for any pet parent working through positive reinforcement training who wants to be able to create treats for their pup. This is also great for a clicker trainer or positive reinforcement dog trainer who needs a lot of treats and who may need to have recipes for dogs with food allergies or restrictions with their clients.

Perfect for dehydrated treats!
I use this to make little crunchy treats for my cat. I make the treat mixture and put it into the molds. Then freeze them solid before popping out and then into my dehydrator.

Cool concept, but takes work
This is a very cool concept. At first I was super excited to be able to make 468 treats for my dog. But after my first batch, I realized what a pain in the butt It is popping out 468 little tiny cavities. However, in the long run, it will definitely save me money on dog treats. We've done things like frozen banana and frozen yogurt. But we would like to bake some hard treats like salmon. We tried tuna, but that didn't spread very well. It seems more like pasty items work better. The silicone mold itself is nice and sturdy. It's a great idea.

Great for making healthy snacks for your dog
These are great for baking homemade snacks for your dog. We made snacks using yogurt, bananas, and peanut butter powder. They come out great, our dog loves them, and we know exactly what's in them. They're great training snacks and are less than 2 calories each. After baking, the snacks come out of the mold fairly easily.

Works Great - Perfect size for snack treats
This works great. I have a cat that's allergic to most grains, so I'm using this to make her snacks. I have cut it in half so I could use it in my toaster oven vs the big oven.

It’s OK
In training my dog I bought this for high value treats. Once it cooks down the treats are teeny tiny. It’s very floppy so you need to cook it on a baking sheet. It’s sort of a pick each piece out by hand sort of tool. So it’s good to have on hand but I don’t love it.

Very happy with this mould
The mould is thin and flimsy which is fine, its good that its thin as its not wasting materials being too thick (save the planet), you don't need it thick to hold the liquids anyway, however you will need to put a chopping board underneath it before you start filling it with liquids. I came out with about 130grams of buttons when filling the tray with ghee. This will make it easy to move into the fridge or freezer for setting (or just leave on the bench but if you want to move it along the bench the chopping board will makes it easier). It is easy to pop your little buttons out (although it does take a bit of time) and very easy to wash in the sink with hot soapy water. I never put my silicone moulds in the dishwasher even though you can as it always leaves a yukky film on them. Washing by hand they always come out lovely. Great for making your own Keto choc chips (Cacao butter, Cacao powder + Allouse), Zero carb dog treats (Coconut oil & pork rind flour) or just little buttons of cacao butter/ghee/coconut oil for Keto snacks. Perfect for Homemade Dog Treats
I love this silicone mold to make my dog’s treats. I love how many treats I can make per batch and how easy it was to clean afterwards. The individual molds are not very big (0.5 inch width) which makes these perfect for training treats. It took a bit of time to insert the mix into each individual mold (I initially thought I could roll my treat mix on top and fill the indents this way, but it wasn’t that simple). I think I just need more practice with it. Overall, highly recommend this silicone mold. :)
