Not extra large, but it doesn't matter...they're delicious.
Fabulous. Great price, just the right amount of salt and super crunchy. I just love the taste. Just don't plan on getting oversize peanuts....they're just regular size to me.

Excellent quality big peanuts! Highly recommend!
Excellent quality peanuts. Strong package, the peanuts are extra large. After you eat these you won’t want to have other brands with smaller peanuts. The peanuts came fresh, they taste incredible. It’s worth the price.I will buy again (this is my 3rd purchase). Happy that it’s an American product, meaning it didn’t sit in some container for months.I highly recommend this brand, these peanuts are high-end. I like that it’s not too salty, just the right amount and the salt doesn’t take away from the peanut taste unlike some other cheaper alternatives do.I hope my review helps. Enjoy your peanuts.

Excellent Peanut
These peanuts are everything the producer says they are. I was looking for a saltier peanut. Planters salted peanuts are good, but not salty enough for my tastes. When I read the reviews and some reviews stated these were too salty, I knew I had to try them. I am not disappointed. They are saltier than Planters, but not overly salty. Plus these nuts are very crunchy, tasty and way less oily than Planters. I will buy them again.

Good flavor - Different texture.
A little more difficult to digest, especially for seniors. The texture is harder than a 'regular' peanut. Somewhat oily but the flavor is good. If you serve guests keep in mind they need napkins for their fingers.

Not what they once were
I see on my history that I have ordered these particular peanuts 16 times -- I have always found them to be extra large and almost always perfectly cooked. But the last 3 tins I have purchased, I've been very disappointed. The first time this happened I put it off to they are cooked in small batches, this one was a tad too long (compared to usual). The second tin - the same cooking issue and the peanuts are smaller than they once were. I have just opened my 3rd consecutive tin and again -- they are smaller and IMO over cooked. So though once very reliable - I'll be looking for a new source. These peanuts are not cheap but I considered them worth the splurge - I sadly no longer can say this. IF they were again what they used to be -- I would say they are fantastic, but sadly in light of the last 3 purchases I can no longer recommend not knowing what you might be receiving. These nuts are totally edible and better than many other peanuts on on the market but not the same as they once were.

If there is a better brand, someone let me know
I am a consumer, no one paid me, I bought all the peanuts with my money with no promos. Writing review as I was so surprised by the Hubs' bland taste. Ordering another Feridies right now. No, zero affiliation with any of these brands.Taste & Value:Feridies: 5 stars, expensive but worth itHubs: 2 stars, 2 star taste, 2 star value.Planters: 4 stars, 3 star taste, 5 star value.Feridies: Crunchy, excellent taste, smell, aftertaste. Essentially $23 for 40 oz can, 58 cents per oz. Have consumed 4 cans over past 6 weeks.Hubs: Crunchy, bland, no soul, not much flavor. No Prime either, can't be returned. These may look as good as Feridies, but the tastes are not close. Since Hubs only sells it on Amazon as 2 can box, $46 wasted. 58 cents per oz. But I ate 2 oz and don't even want to eat the rest. Sorry, to those who gave 5 stars to this product. Not to me. Debated 2 stars or 3 stars. But since I don't even want to eat the rest of my 78 oz....Planters: Not that crunchy, decent flavor, decent smell, not much aftertaste. Price for 6 can box fantastic. $18 for 6 cans, 96 oz. 19 cents per can. These are ok to good peanuts. Give 4 stars because of value.

Nutty Excellence
Always excellent product in every regard - but costly. Tried the Kirkland brand recently as cost is much lower but no comparison. May have to cut down on nuts, but excellent product

Believe the positive reviews
I was a little put off by the negative feedback on these but it couldn’t be farther from the truth. Those reviewers must have gotten bad batches.Feridies makes the best salted peanuts I have ever tasted. They are consistently crispy and fresh. No rancid nuts here. They’re very well salted and the salt coats the nuts evenly for consistent flavour. I first tried them in 2016 as part of a gift basket. I’ve been trying to track them down ever since and am really happy that Amazon offers them. That should tell you how excellent these are.The $40 price tag is absolutely worth it. They do not disappoint. I actually don’t ever want to try other brands again because it will just ruin the experience. If you’re uncertain, this is your sign. Do yourself a favor and order Feridies.

Not the best, certainly not the worst.
I’ve had better Virginia peanuts, however, other brands charge exorbitant, even prohibitively high, shipping rates. Best value for money Virginia peanuts you can get in Canada.
