I learned about the magic of manganese 40 years ago when I was a dancer with a sprained ankle from a fellow dancer. 4 decades later I was diagnosed with elhers danlos hypermobility, it's a congenital and genetic condition that effects connective tissues - tendons, fascia, skin etc.. We are the bendy folks. More of an asset in youth. However now with aging, it is brutal. The worst symptom for me of is lax tendons. That means my bones slide and grind around and often get cripplingly dislocated-unless I take manganese. It seems seems to reconstitute my connective tissues - noticeably in my tendons.
