Great value for money and very educational.
A very good starter lock picking kit with plenty included for beginners wanting to learn the basics of lock mechanisms and picking techniques. The transparent practice locks are extremely useful, as being able to see the pins and internal movement helps make it much easier to understand how different picks and tension tools work together. It makes the learning process far less confusing compared to jumping straight into normal locks. The set itself includes a wide range of picks and accessories, all neatly organised in the carry case. The credit card style lock pick kit is also a nice addition and surprisingly compact. The tools feel reasonably solid for a beginner-focused kit and were more than adequate for practice and learning. The picks themselves feel reasonably sturdy for a beginner-focused kit. They are fairly thin, which helps when working with tighter keyways, while still feeling flexible enough to avoid snapping during normal use. The stainless steel material gives the tools a decent balance between strength and usability, especially considering the price point of the set. While this is clearly aimed more at beginners than professionals, it offers very good value for the amount included. It is a fun and interesting kit for anyone curious about lock mechanisms, problem solving, or hobby lock picking. Overall, a well-rounded starter set that is educational, easy to use, and enjoyable to learn with.

Petty cash box stole money (well, it thought it did)
I am not a locksmith and this is my first lock picking kit and i have nothing to compare it to but...So far i have managed to have 2, 60" televisions and the CCTV that caught me. No, none of that happened. I promise! I think i must have unlocked (excuse the pun) a hidden talent. I had all the locks that were supplied picked within 1 hour without downloading the ebooks which i will download later today, i know the locks are only training locks and other locks will be harder and different to pick. The set does seem strong and a good quality set for beginners and no doubt some professionals. I will definitely be looking to expand my lock picking toolset. It is a fun new hobby for me and luckily i managed to pick a very good beginners set which suits me and my new hobby. I bought a petty cash box from Amazon back in 2014 and lost the keys about 6 months ago. I didn't want to destroy the box to get the money out. After 2 minutes i had the lock picked thanks to this lock picking set. I would recommend this lock picking set to everyone interested in the lock picking hobby old and new hobbyists and the pouch and the credit card bonus pieces are a nice touch. If you're not sure about buying this lock picking set...i'd recommend you to buy it and have some fun with a new hobby of lock picking. Just a bit of advice, which most people probably know.. Remember, only pick the locks you own and the locks you have permission to pick, don't ruin the hobby for yourself and preferably don't pick a lock in use because you don't want to break a lock then call a locksmith and have to explain to him or her what happened. Lol. I have given 5 stars for everything owing to the fact that i can lower this at a later date, which i am confident i will not need to do. Go buy it and have fun.

Fun and enjoybale
Easy to use very begginer friendly, good to practice but the locks they give are really really easy to pick im talking about 5-30seconds for a beginner. Need something a bit higher security level at least. Managed to lock pick a file cabinet shortly after. Harder to lock pick a door at home. Fun to use good skill to have. Like the credit card travel bits. Although the website no longer works. Good bit of kit to have

Definitely worth trying
Really enjoyed this and have tested these new skills on all sorts of locks. Makes for an interesting hobby or good just to pass the time. If youโre looking for something different to try or to learn a skill that can be used with locks of lesser quality, itโs work giving this a go. Good quality pieces included but would probably bend if used too roughly.

Great set of picks.
I recieved these for Christmas as a gift, they're a great way to kill time while I watch a movie, I have adhd and find having something to occupy my hands with can help me focus on the show more and I'm not reaching for my phone as much. Overall the picks are sturdy and have a good variet, the practice locks are ideal to demonstrate how a lock works as well as how to manipulate the pins, I have since bought several locks to practice on with varying mechanisms and opening sizes to offer a challenge, the tools have held up great without any damage or bends to the picks, the case is a nice touch too, its held all my tools nicely, the little bags that hold the locks however have broke on mine but they are simple press bags so they're not too important, although I like to keep the locks inside them to just keep everything together. The guides are a bit basic but get across the general knowledge of how to use the tools and the purpose of the locks, I personally already worked this out before looking at the guides but I find them a nice addition to download for anyone interested. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to get into lockpicking as a hobby, whether that is just to start a new one or for someone looking for a puzzle like myself, yes there are cheaper options available but I can only recommend these having held and used them myself, I am overall satisfied with my gift.

Good for a general understanding
I always wanted to learn how to pick a lock and I thought that getting one of these will teach me. That is true to a certain degree, but the better use for these is an initial understanding of how locks actually work and what is happening inside the lock. I managed to pick all 3 locks within 2 days of getting the set and then started picking them without looking and only relying on feel. The better way of learning how to pick locks is to get a few real locks and practice on those, as you'll learn more by doing that than with these. It's a nice, novelty item and a somewhat decent tool to get someone who has absolutely 0 experience with lockpicking. The lockpicks are decent but not great by any means. They get the job done but they're not anything to write home about. Keep in mind that of all the picks you get, you won't use more than 2-3 anyway.

Good quality pack in a great price
I already have the earlier version which costs just under 14 pounds. This set was my first beginner pack, and I've really enjoyed it so far. It was good for the price at an entry level for someone who has never tried it before and want to have a feel of this hobby, or it can be as a nice gift for someone who likes those kind of things. However if you wish to keep developing your skills then you need a material which is more robust and I definitely felt the difference with this pack. First thing I've noticed is that the quality went up. Not only the material but the finish, e.g. the new tensioners are robust and easy to work with because the edges are smooth! The variety of tools is amasing - more tensioners and more pick endings. I definitely found my favourite one which looks like a pipe. Generally, I am pretty sure that this pack covers most of what you need. The grip is really good and in spite of the metal piece is attached to a plastic handle it still feels as one unit and does not wobble. My personal preference is to put my finger on the top upper part of the tool slightly after the plastic ends, i.e. on the metal part as you need to press the tool downwards to push each tooth. So those who do like me might want to put a silicon tip on your finger if you're going to spent some time on it.

Good for the price and fun to try
I bought this set after watching some videos online. Everything that should be there was in the box, with an added bonus - although the kit says "3 practise locks included" one of the locks has "indoor" and "outdoor" ends with different keys, and so there are 4 different locks to pick. Two of the locks come with two keys, the third lock comes with one key for each end. There is a nice range of tools, with some overlap of their functions. The tools come with a small carrying case, and there is another set of 5 tools in a small credit card style case. The credit card case is very flimsy, but will do the job if you want to keep that set in a wallet. The only downside is that there are no instructions. There is a card with a web address which is supposed to lead to 2 free ebooks, but the link does not work. However, an Internet search found a PDF explaining what the tools are and how to attempt the padlock that comes in the kit. Realistically, the tools are a slightly flimsy but still more than useable, and for this price I would not expect professional-grade tools. I am happy enough with the kit and having picked each of the practise locks several times each I am going to check the house for old padlocks to try next. Other than the lack of instructions, I am very happy that I bought this kit.
