8" Nebula Plasma Ball

This thing is awesome! It’s so bright and bigger than I expected. When I received my first one it only worked on “noise”, and not on “ON”. So I exchanged it for another one and they sent me a new one right away and I sent them the malfunctioning one at no cost to myself. Was easy and fast and the new one works perfectly and looks beautiful.

As expected; matches description, nice size. First one did not work, but the replacement worked fine. Eventually this one also stopped working after a couple of years. I would prefer longer-lasting and higher quality, as they seem such a waste to dispose of, and are probably not worth their price, but I assume most plasma balls are of the same so-so quality. At least this one is plain and doesn't have a big ugly logo on it.

This product did exactly what I wanted it to do. I remember back in the 90's, they sold these at a mall - and the discharge of some models was weaker than others. So naturally, when buying it online - I had only the reviews to base my decision on. Well I can tell you now that the electric discharge of this plasma ball is impressive. I was going to upload a picture, but honestly, it looks exactly like the product description. Given the design of this product in general, it is always possible that one will arrive dead. Since you are probably giving this to your kid, I'd test it out before wrapping it up and putting a bow on it (It goes easily back in the box and no one will know).

I bout this for my girl after my niece accidentally broke hers. Works great, the colors and reactions are brilliant. The only downside is the "sound" portion, it takes a lot of sound or vibration to make it go. But who really sets it up for sound anyway?

I've developed a weird, unhealthy love of these plasma globes; the kind of intense interest that will likely soon lead to me coming home to find my family and friends sitting in a circle with the concerned, 'we need to talk' looks on their faces. But I can't help it, I just love the way these things look at night. If it weren't insane, I would replace my normal bulbs around the house with plasma globes. As it stands, I have purchased 5 globes as I try to hunt down all of the various colors.This globe works fine, but the picture here is a little misleading. The plasma in this globe is red at the center and edges where it touches the glass and violet in the middle, identical to a lot of other brands like Sensory moon. In fact, it looks EXACTLY like my Sensory moon globe and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they contain identical parts from the same manufacturer somewhere. I really like the Sensory moon, so there is nothing wrong with this one, but I took a point off because I was hoping the plasma was white as per the picture. But if you are looking for a basic plasma globe, this is a really decent one.

I purchased this item 9 months ago. It quit working the other day, I contacted them and they replaced it quickly. I use it for a night light in my kids room, it works great. Thank you customer support for your help on this. Great item.

Bought one of these on a whim as I was looking for something for my office desk at work for both stress reduction/relaxation and as a fun thing for my staff to fiddle with when in my office. Item was well packed and the box arrived in good condition.Plugged it in briefly at home to verify that it worked, and it was beautiful...much like my old Eye of the Storm from back in the late 80s. Unfortunately the quality of this unit is FAR worse.Took it to my office and plugged it in, and it seemed to be working normally. I left for a meeting and then returned about 30 minutes later to find it off. At first I assumed that one of my staff had shut it off, but the switch was still in the ON position. I checked the wall plug and found it to be quite warm (abnormally so), and the unit was DEAD. I picked it up and noticed a burning smell coming from the base of the unit.Based on this, I would assume this device is a fire hazard, but likely contains a fuse/breaker of some kind to prevent overheating/flames, which fortunately appears to have worked, as it didn't burn down the building. But, having worked for less than 45 minutes total, who knows if the failsafe on these units is reliable either. Returning as defective for a refund.You have been warned. Cannot at all recommend this unit...look elsewhere.UPDATE:. Received a communication from the seller VERY quickly (within 1 hour), which is appreciated. They indicated that "When you turn it on for 30 mins that long, it will automatically shut off for safety protection". They offered to send another unit "fully test replacement" at no charge. While I do very much appreciate the extremely quick customer service intervention (adding a star for their very fast and appropriate response), the unit still does not power on after being unplugged for over two hours, so it is definitely dead.Customer service experience is five stars for sure, but I just can't bring myself to try another one, particularly if they cannot be on for more than 30 minutes...that smells of a problematic product. I used my old Eye of the Storm for days/weeks on end with no issues. Thanks to the vendor for reaching out, but will still be returning for a refund. My star rating here is a reflection of the item, NOT THE SELLER/VENDOR.
