Musical Heart Shaped Jewelry Box

my 3 year old really likes this little jewerly box. It is durable enough to last awhile but not forever. It seems priced right. It is big enough for several of her necklaces and rings and such so worked well for us. The ballerina isn't the best quality but she does spin well and the mechanism (music box windings and sound) has been good. It made a nice birthday present for her.

My baby girl was turning 2 years old and is obsessed with ballarinas lately so my husband and I wanted to give her a music box for her birthday. Because of her age we didn't want something too expensive becuase chances are good with young kids that they will break anything in a few days. We ordered this music box and she loves it, she literally has been walking around holding it for days. The key on the back is big and wide making it easy for her to turn with her little hands. I do want to point out some people have given this a bad review due to some of the features not being top notch. I will admit that yes the music is a bit clangy and fast, and the materials for this box are not the highest of keepsake quality, but lets be honest here - for this price you are not buying a keepsake. If you want a high end musical box with great sound that will last years and years; or you want something for an older child that is super fancy this is not the music box for you. Spend the extra money and buy a keepsake box. However; if you like me and you just want a cheap music box for a young child that you don't have to care too much about if they break it - then this box is great. It's pretty and works ok; and she LOVES it ! A bonus to us is if it breaks we're not out too much money. When she gets bigger then we'll spend the extra money to get her the super nice long lasting keepsake music box.

I bought this one for my 3 year old, all she wanted from Santa was a "ballerina music box" and man, this got the wide eyes and oohs & ahh's... even from me! I can't believe the price, I bought my 5 year old the fairy one and it's just as beautiful. The top is sparkly, so decorative and stunning. Really a wonderful little box.

This was my 5 year olds first ballerina music box and for the price, I think it's pretty good. It's very pretty and she absolutely loves it. It is made of a thick cardboard type material so I don't know how long it will last, but she tends to carry it around and play the music over and over again. It's definitely not fancy, but for the price it's a great starter jewelry/music box for a little girl or boy who wants one!

I was looking for a musicical jewelry box for my daughter. this was perfect for her since she is only 4. but i will def. be getting one a little bigger and better quality when she gets a little older. but for now and for the price this is perfect.

When I received the first glance does not like, cardboard material, rough process, another sounds terrible.It is not worth its price.

This is just right for a 3 yr old. A little bling, easy to open and close, big key for small hands, cute little ballerina and the sound is good for something so inexpensive.

This was a present for my daughter's friend, who was turning 3. The girls take dance together so I thought it was appropriate, given the other little girl's love of ballet. It's not a bad product, especially for the price. It's not as sturdy as the one I had when I was a child, but the body of it isn't as cheaply constructed as it could be. The decorations on top are a little cheesy for my taste, but I'm not a 3-year-old girl. The recipient was intrigued by it, not knowing what it was all about, but she did like the ballerina inside and that it would dance to the music. Most of the adults at the party, however, were very excited about it and wanted to get a closer look at it after present time was over.
