A daily luxury. I adore this salt
This salt was originally gifted to me and I enjoyed it throughly. This is now my second time buying it. It’s not overly salty, so you can enjoy sprinkling the flakes. They melt easily and are delicate so they aren’t crunchy or gritty. They are light and thin. One bag fills up my salt canister all the way. I think it took me about 2 months to eat through all of it, I was applying it liberally to everything.

John from Madison WI
I heard about this company while watching a Nature episode on Salt. It is everything that it was touted to be. It is expensive, and I thought that maybe I would just buy it once to try it; but, since it is basically a finishing salt, it is lasting a long time. The taste is so clean--it actually tastes like what you think salt should taste like. I am sold on it. If you really enjoy a nice dash of salt to finish whatever is on your plate, you need to try this. It is incredibly good!

Pure and good for saltwater gargles
Great salt. My family uses it to make a saltwater gargle for illness and for germ prevention - not everyday. This is not an iodized salt, unfortunately. I found it on the “Lead Safe Mama” site. If it was iodized that would be a real win, especially if it continued to be iodized while being free of heavy metals. If it met both of those conditions, I would use it just about every day.

Nice taste but too expensive
Nice salt, 4 oz is smaller than you think. Too $$$$ for my taste.

Tasty n crunchy
Love the salt and use primarily as a finishing salt topping off a dish. Shared with other salt loving chef friend too. A story behind the salt can be viewed on Netflix “Somebody feed Phil” The latest season Oregon episode.

Why is it twice as expensive as it used to be?
This stuff is amazing and I can’t get enough of it but what I don’t understand is why it’s twice as expensive to buy right now (7/2025) than it was in December 2024?
