The 0 to 6 month size was way too small for him and it was tight around his belly, so I returned those and bought the 6 to 12 month size, and they fit perfectly around the belly, not too tight. (Started wearing 6-12 month size, with the legs cuffed, around 5 months old, and is now almost 9 months wearing them not cuffed but still has a little length to grow into.) The only thing I don't love is that the fabric is on the thinner side so not awesome for winter temps. BUT. I can't believe we are heading into our second autumn and these pants still fit comfortably because of the way they are made with soft stretchy fabric and fold-over/don't fold over waist and pant cuffs. We have worn them and washed them over and over and over, and although I can tell they have faded very slightly, they still look good. I love this whole line of clothes and wish Hanes would extend them through 3T at least with some regular shirt options for toddlers in the potty training stage in lieu of the one piece body suit shirts. But, easy enough to wear these pants with regular T-shirts too.
