Marvel Super Hero Mashers Hulkbuster vs Hulk Mash Pack

(I am posting my same opinion on every Masher we have purchased so far, because in my opinion, you can't go wrong buying any of them!)When I first saw "Mashers" I thought...'Wow, someone just came up with an idea to make a whole lot of money!' Because essentially the idea of these "Mashers" is you buy several different figures, your child pulls them apart and then attaches them back together mixing up their parts and making new figures. This can get expensive! It was a trap I was not about to fall into....until....Santa decided a few Superhero Mashers couldn't be all that bad! Well let me tell you, several months later, my 5 year old son not having any previous knowledge of the Masher series has decided these are his favorite toys. I must admit, although it can be a financial trap it is amazing for me to watch my son play and create. I love these action figures now because I can see how much they stimulate his mind and his imagination. He will sit for a long time and he recreates different super heroes and villians, mixing up their powers and strengths and weaknesses. Even if my child doesn't know 'who' the masher is to begin with, like the "Groot" figure, he calls "Branch Man" because he looks so realistically like a tree, he creates new 'species' and figures! It's also good for fine motor skills because when you pull apart the figures you have to reattach them to sometimes hinged or movable parts and it's a little tricky for little hands, but builds skill in that area. We now have about ten different Mashers in our collection and I'm sure there are many more to come! I have to admit, I've been drawn in by these mashers too and have many times sat on the floor with my son recreating new heroes and villains and fighting the most fearsome foes to save the world!A few side notes: the joints are really tight when they are new, which is good because they stay together. But the down side is my five year old has a difficult time pulling them apart when they are brand new. Then once the action figure is worn in and played with a lot, the joints become loose and for example, a leg doesn't stay on and falls off easily. That's not cool. Also, the D.C. Comics are not represented as Mashers. That's really too bad because what fun it would be to mash-up Super Man with Bat Man and Robin and so on!!!

My kids love these things. They sit and play with them for hours on end, and they are some of the few things they put away when finished (so the dog won't get them lol). The product arrived on time and in great condition. I would definitely order from the seller again.

I am absolutely jumping the gun here in writing a review because I am saving this gift for Christmas. I was just so thrilled to receive this because even in the packaging it looks awesome! My five-year-old son is a big hulk buster fan, and I know he is going to be so excited to open this! The package is much bigger than I expected (see it compared to the soda can in the picture) so it's going to feel like a really big gift! The action figures are colorful and appear to be of good quality, and I know he loves mashers. This is going to be a very loved and a very used gift!

The feet on the large Hulk Buster do not stay on and the connector on the arm snapped off in the first day. Poor quality, a lot of the pieces were either a really loose fit or a too tight fit. If my son didn't want it so bad and save up for it since Christmas I would not be replacing it.

My son loves hero mashers and has a growing collection. We bought these for his 5th birthday and one of the connecting pieces for Hulkbuster's arm broke within 24 hours so now I have a sad little boy. We had a Spider-Man break before that felt of much poorer quality. We have some Avengers that feel nice and thick and have held up great and now this and the Spider-Man have broken. If it hadn't broken I'd give it 5 stars because it's a super fun toy and my son loves mixing and matching the pieces, and his set in particular comes with a lot of cool pieces!

I bought this for a great price for my son who loves these heros! Good quality! Only criticism I have concerning this product was the Hulks head was a bit difficult to put on because it was slightly loose as well as his left arm being loose. Hulkbuster is great! What this retails for in stores compared to what I paid I cannot complain at all!!! Would buy again!

Great Quality and perfect for kids that love Marvel! My four year old was really into these Mashers.

My 6 year old has a ton of Mashers from various character sets. These characters were the first that we've bought which I consider poor quality. By the points:-The characters themselves are popular and a good combo-Price is good for two such popular characters-Despite the faults below my son still loves playing with them-The wings are cool and my kiddo loves 'em-Stopsign and gun (the weapons) are stupid and quickly discarded-Arms and feet literally fall off of both characters. Just bumping a character means at least one part falls off. For all the other mashers I've bought they snap in super tight. Not these.-Hulkbuster boots don't even fit the feet (too big). The normal feet are supposed to fit into even bigger boots you see pictured... nope there's just a peg at the back of the boots that slips into a hole in the heel. No snugness or toe support. There's a quarter inch gap between toe of normal foot and where the corresponding boot side is. You can't even GENTLY pick up hulkbuster while standing in those boots without them falling off. And good luck trying to get him to balance in those boots on a table or floor. Makes the boots functionally unusable.So, love mashers but have been greatly disappointed in this particular set. Not saying don't buy them, but know what you're getting.
