Great light!!!!
Great for the night runner. I have about 30 miles on mine. It has been attached to my right running shoe. Clipped inside the shoe string. Works perfect so far. Can't even feel it on the shoe. The clip is different but works great. Not sure about clipping on clothes or belt but it's great on the shoe. Great little light. "Be seen people". People are absent minded while driving "trust me". This light helps you be seen at night. Love it!!!!UPDATE: 1-15-16I finally had to replace the battery it's been 11 months. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews this is a great light. Battery compartment is a little tricky but light works great after replacing the battery's. Just use a quarter on the end of the light twisted sideways and pop the compartment open. Do it over a towel at your dining table because the battery's pop out. Getting the new batteries in is a little bit tricky but it works out fine just take your time.!Happy night runner!

Bright. Batteries replaceable.
Very bright. And stays on like most with a hinge. Ok for rain not swimming of course.Change batteries: Place thumbs between 2 sections along the white border near the on/off button. With some pressure pop the two sides apart. (I can see how it might break so you judge how much pressure.). Replace batteries one with positive sign down, the other with positive sign up. There are tiny pictures into the side of the battery casing.

Lightweight and long-lasting, but none too bright
This is basically a luminous tag. Super lightweight, very compact, quite useful if you are running at night and want something to tell drivers that you are around. Superior to a simple reflective vest, especially with a blinking pattern. Not so useful at dusk though - the light simply isn't bright enough to draw a lot of attention when the ambient light is still high. This isn't a significant issue, just don't expect it to do something too substantial.I would recommend this for night runners, so long as it compliments a reflective vest and reflective wrist/ankle bands. I use it as a a rear pack light when hiking, since the pack hides my reflective vest. The lithium battery and long lifespan make this an ideal light to tuck away in your hiking pack "just in case".

Wish they would go back to their old design
I've bought 5 of these now. The first two were great and the batteries lasted for 2+ months of daily use but I dropped them in the dark and the front/back split apart and I lost them. My fault. The three replacements I've bought have all had different problems: Two didn't work at all, and the other one turns off after ~30minutes of use and won't turn back on until it's rested for ~10m. The HUGE danger in this is that you assume the light is on, and that drivers can see you when you are running/walking, but in reality it's turned it's self off and I'm not as visible as I think I am... Very, very dangerous. The design of the last three changed relative to the first two, they physically look the same but the operation is different and clearly the quality of the internals has suffered.Otherwise these operate on two watch batteries, which can be almost as expensive to replace as buying a new light.

Two different versions/models of the light?
The green/lime one is definitely brighter than the red one. They both work very nicely and will attract the attention of others while running in dusk/dawn/dark.There seem to be two different models. I bought the red one last week. In order to start it, I have to push and hold the on button for a few seconds before it turns on. Once it's on, pushing the button immediately switches between the constant on and flashing modes. To turn it off, you need to push and hold the button again for several seconds. This makes it pretty much impossible to turn on the light inadvertently (as someone mentioned in their review, giving the example of tossing the light into their gym bag) and running out the battery. This one has an IPX3 rating.Tonight I received the green/lime colored light (to use in the front) and its switch works totally differently - just a slight push turns the light on and off and also switched between modes. No IPX rating. I prefer the way the red one works.I wouldn't make the assumption that this behavior is linked to the color, rather I assume there are two different models/versions of the light currently being shipped, the one with the delayed on/off (ie in my case the red one) being superior.I am going to contact Nathan to verify my assumption, and if this is the case, return my current green/lime one for a more recent version which help with the longevity of the battery (no accidental turning on of the light).I star off for the inconsistent behavior.Just looked at the Nathan site, their specs for the strobe light mention an IPX4 rating, so there seem to be at least 3 different models.

Great visibility lights!
I am using this one and a red one on my early am runs, clip them to the belt, either running belt or the belt which came with the Nathan's flash/head light. They are waterproof so far (sweat and light rain), very visible, and, together with the second strobe light, even served as headlights in a pinch when my headlamp died, although they have only 1.5 lumens I think. Have yet to replace batteries, very sturdy. The color is more blue than aqua. Surprised I couldn't find a strap to clip on on my Nathan's hydration vest. Overall, great visibility light!

Not staying on for my evening commute home from work.
So far no good. I bought this light to be seen on my ride home from work, but somewhere along the ride, it turns off. I've tried removing the batteries and replacing them just in case, but after a week of failing to stay on for the ride home, I'm planning of returning it.I'm glad I have a reliable light built into my Helmet (GoMax Brand), and an older style light I bought from Walmart years ago (Bell brand) because the Nathan Strobe light has been unreliable so far.I'm not sure if it has to do with the cold temperatures (it's been in the teens or below), but right now I'm planning on returning it. If you ride or run at night, I suggest bringing along an extra source of light just in case.

Very handy pack or clothes light that works really well
I run a lot in all conditions, and though generally I have a head-torch on in the worst of them, there are plenty of reasons to have a strobe light on you or your pack.** Pros **- People can track you as you run away from them- If you drop your pack, you can more easily find it- Alerts people to your presence- Is very bright in the pitch black- Can clip onto nearly anything- Is light enough that it isn't 'extra' weight or moves awkwardly when attached to clothes- Offers good value because it reliably works- Better than competing products I've tried** Cons **- No indicator for when the battery will die (on long runs I feel the need to replace the battery, creating waste)- More expensive than it could be** Overall **On night runs this comes with me either on my clothes or on my pack.

Great value, lightweight, and reliable
I've been using this for running for about 8 weeks now, and the battery is just about running out. I run around 3-4 hours a week, so I'd guesstimate the batteries last around 24-32 hours, which is pretty decent. It weighs very little, and is barely noticeable when attached to the back of my shorts. The light itself is nice and bright, providing safety and visibility for night-time activities such as walking and running.Light-weight, water resistant and robust - I've dropped it half a dozen times and it doesn't seem to mind. Would definitely recommend, and buy again.

LEDs failed
Worked fine for one winter, came to use it for running in the dark again this winter and the LEDs failed. Checked batteries as I thought it might just need new ones, but sadly I only got a few months use it of this.

Washing Machine Resistant
Super lightweight so it clips to the back of my t-shirt collar. Strobe is bright and visible from many angles. Makes me feel safer when running down country lanes.Forgot it was on my top and it went through the washing machine... Still works fine!

Brilliant product
Used these for safety lights at Europe's Toughest Mudder. Lasted all night and in water obstacles.
