Since it’s unisex, the fit is ok! For a man, would definitely size up! Bought a lg for a 17 yr. Male. Not a lot of extra room. Warm and comfortable!

Warning you to not buy. Cheaply made, ad picture looks great......not what I received! Ad shows various sizes.....I ordered XXL but received a "One Size Fits All". I am returning, and warning again, buy somewhere else!

Good for people with big heads
I have a big head along with an afro and this hat fits me nice. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I mostly use it fishing but he keeps me warm.
