My grandsons--2 and 5 years old loved this item. Played with it for hours

Our 3 and 4 year old grandsons loved getting this set for Christmas and play with them alot. They seem to be well made and are a little larger than most sets of plastic animals. They enjoy taking them into the bath tub and the animals float well.

My daughter is very particular about the things that she chooses for her one year-old son to play with. These were a big hit. To see a 12 month old paddling around with a Bailee whale and a squid in his hands is pretty cute. Durable. Mother approved. Life like.

My daughter really loves her animals.It does include a tiger shark, which is a bit different from regular shark with color, so for early learners that might be a bit complicated.The size is larger in comparison to other “jumbo” sets she has.As many said, you do see the seam, but it’s still fun for her and does not stop the play.

Very happy with these. My 3 year old niece thinks they're so cool. Some people that wrote reviews were not happy with the quality because most of the animals have a visible seam where they were put together. This is true, they do have this, however I hardly think the young children this set is geared for will hardly notice or care. I think it is the perfect beginner set for ages 3-5, that's just my opinion. I debated getting her the same amount of sea animals in other brands, like Schleich figures, because they are a better quality, more realistic, and a durable solid plastic. However, I would have spent double the price, and they are not as big as some of the figures in this set, which is nice for toddlers/younger children. Some reviewers also complained that each figure has a small hole, so playing with them in water could result in mold inside each toy. This is also true, and I almost didn't buy these for that reason, knowing my niece would want to play with these in the tub/pool. There's a simple solution. Just take a hot glue gun and a small amount will seal each hole, making them perfectly fine to be played with in the water. If you don't want to do that, well then just squeeze the water out after each use and let them air dry. If they're ruined after a year or 2 at least you didn't spend a ton of money on this set. Overall, I'm very pleased with the look and size of each figure. Nice selection of different sea life.

My 4 year old daughter got these from Santa - new plastic play animals were one of the few things she asked for, and she loves these. We lived in London for 3 months in the fall, and while there, her teacher Louisa froze small plastic animals in Tupperware, then emptied the ice blocks into the sensory tub for the kids to learn about water freezing and ice melting. The kids, especially my daughter, loved it! So, I do this with these animals for her, but instead, we empty the ice blocks into the tub at bath time, and as the ice melts, she pretends she is rescuing the inmates who are trapped in frozen ice. My daughter has a blast with these, and on top of it, you can tell the animals are great quality. At least one, I think it's the whale, is not solid plastic - it is empty inside and there's a small air hole, but I can still tell it's sturdy and great quality.

My grandson has enjoyed these and spent hours of playtime and after a year and a half still plays with them!
