I think I bought this game used, but as far as I am concerned this game was almost brand new, all components were in great shape and complete, can't wait to get together with a few friends and/or family members to play, I also think this game can be played solitaire, if I come up with a solid and exciting solitaire system for this game, I will gladly post it on boardgamegeek.com.

Great game
I bought this years ago for my then 9 yo son. We usually played with my brother, mom and I so age ranges 9-70. We all enjoyed it. We needed way more paper cash than provided so we made $50,000, $100,000 bills. The way the game is played, everyone is keeping track of how much they and their neighbor has so the paper money isn't really necessary and we quickly didn't bother with it at all. My son, (now 37yo) asked me if I still had it because he wants to play it with his son so that shows how much he enjoyed it that he remembered it from almost 30 years ago.

Because my kids enjoy it, and it explains some things about the stock market. Especially short sells vs long sales.

Description of Product
The idea of the game is to trade stocks: buying, selling and selling short so profitably that one becomes the richest trader and the winner. A player is chosen to 'function' as the Stockbroker. The Market is opened with the turning up of the top Ticker Tape, then unlimited trading in lots of 100 shares may begin. News Cards affect stock prices up and down. A Record is kept of every trade and each change in price. A Market Closing Time is set, at which time all trading stops. Players and Broker settle up at the last price on the record. The game is one of fun, excitement, skill, and educational value.
