I absolutely love the product it’s a little flimsy but it did the job

Fondant cutters were perfect for the silhouettes I needed to cut for a wedding cake. The cutters are very, very shallow and I definitely would not recommend for use as a cookie cutter. Easy to use and easy to get out of the cutter using a crafting knife or a small fondant tool to give it a slight push without damaging! Be sure to use corn starch or confection sugar on your cutter prior to pressing to ensure it doesn’t stick.

A few of the cutters have very thin detailing, this requires a good dusting of corn starch to release without breaking, though those details are what make the cuts unique and beautiful.

I saw some reviews say the cutters were too flimsy for fondant or arrived damaged, but neither were true for me. They were in perfect condition and worked amazingly well with fondant, even the monkey and big cats ones that had very skinny tails. I rolled my fondant pretty thin and had no issues at all. Very happy and satisfied with this purchase!!

The quality of these is terrible. They are literally very fragile and only 1/8 of an inch thick. They're so fragile they are already bent and misshapen when they arrived. They are so thin and frill I would never even imagine them being able to be used as a cookie cutter and they are so thin I don't know what kind of cookie you could ever use this for. They were immediately returned.

The detail is so fine, that its difficult to get the paste cleanly out of the mold. One of the ones I got was not made correctly. I thought it was broken, as it appeared a piece was missing around a head. I think it came out of its mold wrong. I had to hand cut that portion of the head.

I included some pictures on the best way to use these. Roll out your fondant, and place plastic wrap over it. Then press the cutter into the fondant. Be careful not to break the cutter. Remove the plastic wrap, and use a sharp knife to finish cutting the pattern. These worked for what I needed. I don't think these would work as well for cookies.

I'm not a great decorator but my daughter really wanted a homemade cake for her birthday. Thanks to these cutters (and some youtube videos) it turned out to be the most beautiful cake I've ever made.
