Fun and easy for younger kids
I got this to play with a 9 year old and a 5 year old and they absolutely love it. If your child knows the numbers 1-6, you can play the game. It's fast to learn and doesn't get old. Highly recommended!

1 2 3 4 5 6 LLama fun game!!!!!
Fun and laughs was worth the cost and it was simple enough to keep us enjoying our time together!!!Even though it seems like a childs game, our 4 person adult grouphad lots of fun with this game. It is simple and each game is quick. The cost was not too bad for a card game, but it was worth the fun and enjoyment and lots of laughs we had. Our ages were mid sixties to mid seventies and being simple was perfect for us.

Excellent casual card game...Crazy 8's but with a twist!
Very enjoyable casual game that is quick & easy to learn. The initial game mechanic is similar to Crazy 8s, however there is an additional layer of strategy involving when to fold or draw cards, and a point system that keeps the lead changing.I like that the game is comprised of multiple short rounds which allows for frequent changing of the lead. The fortunes of the players can flip from one round to the next which keeps gameplay exciting.Works well as a 2 player game. Playing with 3 or more players will shift strategy so this game can feel 'new' just by changing up the number of players.Cards are excellent quality with great color and fun illustrations. I ended up purchasing a second deck so we would not have to shuffle the cards as frequently when playing with more players but that is a personal preference.Replay value on this is high. A great game to take to gatherings for casual play.

Kind of a push your luck style game...don't compare to UNO!
This is a fun little "filler" game that is great for all ages. I hesitate to say that it is for those in the younger range because while they can certainly follow the mechanics of the game...any strategy (and there is a little) will be lost on them. They will go through the motions, but they might not grab the tactical approach as to when to take certain actions. This is a MUCH better game than UNO!

Goodbye UNO ...Hello LLAMA
With the holidays just around the corner, many families will be looking for a simple card game that the family can sit around the table and play. This one will delight both casual and hardcore gamers alike! At first glance, it seems almost like an UNO ripoff. It doesn't seem to have enough substance. But, when you actually sit down to play, the strategies start to become clear. The simple addition of "penalty" chips is a game changer. Each turn becomes a decision to draw a card and risk increasing your penalty or quit and hope that others end up with far worse than you. And there is always the option of trying to go out which will allow you to discard a chip. Decisions, decisions, decisions.........Although the game is rated at approx. 20 minutes, my group took closer to an hour. I think this depends on how adept the players are at playing strategy games. Nonetheless, it was a crowd pleaser and I can easily see this being a family tradition. The concept is so simple, but the strategy is much deeper than you might expect.Say goodbye to UNO and Hello to LLama!
