The Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and Sentient set is a high-output 6-string humbucker combo designed for modern metal and hard rock players. Featuring a ceramic magnet in the Nazgûl bridge pickup for aggressive, tight low-end and a versatile Sentient neck pickup for clear cleans and fluid leads, this set offers dynamic tonal range. Hand built in the USA with vacuum wax potting and 4-conductor wiring, it guarantees squeal-free, customizable performance for studio and stage.

## Description

Take your guitar to the centre of the earth with the Nazgûl and Sentient Set. The Nazgûl combines a large ceramic magnet with custom winding specs. The result is a perfect blend of note articulation, saturation, pick attack, and one of the most brutal "chugs" you'll ever hear from a humbucker. It has incredible harmonic content across all frequency ranges, and an insanely tight bass response. The Nazgûl has a seriously aggressive high gain sound that is lively, yet completely controllable. The Sentient neck delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between the '59 model and the Jazz neck pickup. You'll get pristine cleans, and fluid leads under high gain. The Sentient is a very articulate vintage output pickup with great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. It works great for low tunings in all humbucker-equipped guitars. Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Nazgûl and Sentient both use a large ceramic and alnico 5 bar magnets, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

**Q: are these good for death/thrash metal?**
A: You should drive death metal perfectly.

**Q: Anyone know if these are "G" or "F" spaced?  48-50mm compared to 53mm?  Thanks!**
A: These are standard ("G") spaced, about 1-15/16" from E to E on center. We have this set with the F spaced bridge if that is what you need.

**Q: Does this come with a wiring diagram?**
A: I can't remember if it did or not, however because there are several ways to wire two humbuckers, you can find wiring diagrams online pretty easy. I chose to put these pickups in a Les Paul, and wired them the same as the old pickups came out of the guitar.

**Q: does it come with everything?**
A: It doesn't come with pots...at least mine didn't
