Spanish Short Stories: Learn Spanish with Short Stories for Beginners Paperback – July 16, 2019

I took Spanish for two years in high school, and remember a bit, but I have always wanted to be a little better at it. This book of Spanish short stories offers a different approach than most "language teaching" books I have seen. I have read through the whole thing a couple of times now, and while I still don't get quite all of it, I am understanding and remembering more each time. I'm not sure that this is the best approach for someone who has never been exposed to the language, but as I have some experience with it, it works fine for me. I am very glad that I found this book, as it really is helping me to improve my understanding of Spanish.

I am very much interested to learn Spanish Language. That’s why I take this book. This collection of short stories is side by side Spanish and English. It is composed of interesting stories. It is designed to fully immerse the reader in the language and the story, offering English translations for the more difficult words at the end of each chapter. It even contains instructions on how to go about reading it to get the most benefit. This book absolutely helped me to learn a few new things about the Spanish word. Before, I was really struggling to study it; thanks to this book, learning Spanish language has never been this easy and entertaining without this book! It’s really helpful book.

I have been wanting to start learning and reading in different languages and this was the perfect book to start off with. Great book for seeing how Spanish is written in both the narrative and dialog form. Good opportunity to see various verb tense in use. There are lists of vocabulary words with the translation in English, so you don't have to go to a dictionary all the time. The idea it to keep you IN Spanish, but make it easy enough for the student to learn and progress, to make measurable progress so they feel encouraged to continue. I recommend this book for anyone wanting the right mix of reading pleasure, vocabulary building and Spanish reading improvement.

There is nothing like learning a second language. And now you can. Easily!!! Stories teach basic Spanish while allowing the learner/reader to grasp a new language. This way of teaching a new language is brilliant. I never knew I would enjoy it so very much. I couldn't wait to turn the page and continue a new lesson. Read the entire introduction & instructions for reading the stories at the beginning of the book. It makes the whole reading experience more enjoyable. Fantastic book with good read

Not quite what I would consider "beginner" reading material, but . . . it does seem to be helpful in learning Spanish.

Learning a new language is like learning your ABC's all over again. It's like being in a foreign place with no idea what's going on around you. And that's the best thing about learning a new language. It's an adventure and I love adventures that's why I loved this book. This book has everything you need to know about the language - Nouns, Articles, Adjectives, Pronouns, Conjunctions, Verbs, Dates, Months, Seasons, Adverbs,and lots more.A good reference book.

This book is a great way to learn Spanish. The stories really capture your imagination and leaves you wanting for more. If you're looking to challenge yourself with extra vocabulary, this book is for you. In addition to well written and engaging stories, the book is formatted to enhance the readers experience. With vocabulary and story review intermittently spaced in each story, the need to halt reading to search for definitions is diminished.I recommend Spanish Short Stories For Beginners for anyone wanting the right mix of reading pleasure, vocabulary building and Spanish reading improvement.

First, there are only two short stories included (and one of them is truly gruesome). The other has an advanced “plot” (it doesn’t really have one, to be honest). Most of the book is a grammar guide covering basics—but the material is presented using advanced vocabulary. I have been doing self studying Spanish for several months l and know most of the grammar rules here, but only about half of the vocabulary.

I have read a lot of books on how to learn the Spanish language but this one is my favorite. The approach of the author is really fun. Unlike other books, this one is not boring, you've got to learn the language at the same time you will be entertained with the short stories.
