I wear sandals all the time. I got a pair of these somewhere and was quite pleased. I was more pleased when I could get them for a fair price on Amazon. The Amazon history tells me I've bought seven pairs over the years. I got a pair of sandals from Target that looked like these. They lasted for two months, these lasted for three years. My last pair wore out and when I went to get a replacement, "oh no," they are not available (in my size). I got a similar looking pair of Rockport sandals and promptly found out Rockport had a chapter 11 bankruptcy and was bought by another company. I don't know about anything but that one pair of sandals but the new product is nothing like the old. Very disappointing.

These were exactly the sandals my husband wanted...but they were too big. He is a size 10 and that's what I ordered, but there was too much room for him to wear them comfortably. Looks wise, they seemed as if they were a full size too large; my husband is debating whether it's worth reordering them in a 9 and seeing if they fit, but he's sure a 9 will be too small. They are exceptionally well made, with tight even stitching throughout, and beautifully crafted. He was sorry to pack them up and send them back! He has found it difficult this summer to find sandals with narrow straps and medium weight soles. Most at our local mall shops were extremely heavy looking, and had such thick soles that he thought them unattractive. He spent an evening looking at mens sandals on Amazon, and when he found these Rockports he literally leapt for joy -- so they have the right design, and we were impressed with the pair we received.

Used to have Hush Puppies, then Clark's and finally made up my mind to spend almost 80 bucks for a pair of sandals from Rockport. No regret! Put them on right out of the box and then walked through all Manhattan, from E85th to W4th. No problem at all. Seriously, I have not enjoyed my footwear so much for long time. The sandal construction (made in Vietnam) is very sturdy, leather upper is pretty tuff, so the mesh under it keeps your feet in comfort without any skin irritation. The sole is a bit rigit but you can hardly slip on a wet surface - its grip is outstanding. The sandal's general design is simple and open, so your feet can breathe easily. Overall it is an excellent summer walking gear. I plan to wear these sandals non-stop for the whole of July, August, September and October. If they stand the wear and tear by a big block (I am 6'1" and 238 lbs.), I'll wear them next summer again.

best sandals ever. my husband wears them till they fall part, and i mean that literally. If you have foot problems, give these a try. you will never buy a different brand. This is the part where you get old and care about comfort, not looks, because you will wear them way past their prime.

My husband LOVES his Rockports, so when our local Outlet closed it was a 2-hour trek to another outlet to get them. Then that outlet closed. Thank You AMAZON!!! I was trying to find these sandals online and the prices were outrageous! The sandal is well made, leather solidly attached to the footpad, stitching is sound on straps, and the velcro is super sturdy. My husband wears these year round - except in snow - and he's TOUGH on them. The last pair lasted 2+ years before we had to order a new pair - and we only did that because our puppy chewed a piece of one pair (she's part Jack Russell Terrier, so we go through chew toys fast.)

Me gustó las sandalias están en un buen empaque como nunca lo había visto, muy cómodos y excelente modelo y color. Lo que no me gustó que dejaron el paquete en la caseta de vigilancia en el piso, estaba cerrado la puerta ya que el vigilante estaba en rondín, y pase de casualidad en vehículo y me baje ya que era la caja que podría ser mía, y así fue. Gracias a Dios y no se la robaron.

I have a wide foot, my size is UK 8 and ordered an 8.5 as recommended. they are comfortable and excellent to walk in for the price, do not hesitate to buy these Rockport sandals. I'm very happy with my Purchase.

Product arrived 1 day early and was notified by doorbell….great. Put them on my wide high instep foot fits great. Velcro attaches on about 3/4”at the instep area… great. Message to Rockport… don’t let the accountants mess with the functionality. Fits better that a popular box store offers

Great sandals.

Durable, great traction... Nice color and they really stay tight on your feet. I'd buy these again.
