Highly recommend
Used this to upgrade my older stock Mazda radio to an aftermarket one. I wired it to the new radio first, and it made it super easy to finish the swap job. My only down side is that it didn't have a pin/wire for the original steering wheel audio controls, so they don't work now. But otherwise, it was easy peasy to finish the job, and the sound quality is the same as before, if not better.

A MUST
These harnesses are a must when changing radios they’re cheap and save you time by not having to splice wire hunched over in your car just grab this and the wires to your new radio take it inside sit in the nice A/C while heat shrinking the wires together then when you’re ready just plug it in and when you’re ready to upgrade to a new radio just buy a new one and save time. It also looks way more professional then cut and spliced wires behind your radio

PERFECT FIT TO CAR WIRE HARNESS
Needed a couple pins that were not in locations I needed. Made pin removal tool out of flattened copper wire to insert and remove unused wires and move to where I needed them for Axcess steering wheel control module. Worked fine.Blessings,John 20:29

Great product.Fit 2002 Mazda 626 wiring harness like a glove.
Exactly what was needed to connect an aftermarket car stereo to the OEM stereo wiring harness of a 2002 Mazda 626. Great product. Color coding wiring details are printed on the package. Nice!

Missing a wire for my '02 Miata w/ Bose
I used this for a 2002 Mazda Miata with OEM Bose system, and the wire for the power antenna wasn't populated. Not sure if this was a design oversight or just a one-off issue with the one I received. I wouldn't be surprised if the amp turn on wire is the antenna wire on non Bose cars.Luckily I had a harness laying around from an old car that I was able to pop a pin/wire out of. I found the pinout for the OEM radio online and added the pin to the correct position. I tied the new wire into the amp turn on wire. I also added a toggle switch so that I can keep the antenna down when I'm using any source besides the actual radio.update: i've also realized that auto dimming doesn't seem to be possible with this harness in my situation. the Miata has a strange interior lighting system. If you connect the 2 illumination wires together, you will get auto dimming for the stereo BUT it will damage your main dimmer switch OR blow the TAIL fuse- which will result in having no interior lighting on the instrument cluster and hvac controls, and no tail lights.if you connect *either* of the two illumination wires, you won't damage the switch or blow the fuse, but auto dimming won't work on the stereo. ultimately i left them both disconnected and heatshrinked at the end to protect against shorts. auto dimming is nice, but cluster illumination and tail lights are nicer :)i'm not dinging the rating for the harness for this, because i think it's entirely because of the way mazda designed the lighting circuit.
