Q: How long do the balloons stay inflated?

I used an electric pump (also purchased through amazon-- MESHA balloon pump electric 110v 600w air pump about $20). From the time inflated until last person left, 8 hours later, they were still doing great on the stand. We ended up popping them with a needle to clean up. Hope this helped.

Q: What is used to anchor the arch, just received and only has the ballons and clear strips?

A balloon arch kit is used and sold separately from this item. I personally just hung ours, tacked on each end and had nice “u” shape arched against the wall.

Q: Is the big balloons are 18” inches big?

All balloons are different sizes

I purchased this item and just used a handheld air pump that I also purchased from Amazon. It was really simple and easy.
