... I installed a Delkavic exhaust system and it was pretty loud, a little too loud
I own a 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan S and I installed a Delkavic exhaust system and it was pretty loud, a little too loud. I purchased the Thermmal Zero Ceramic Packing, removed my silencer/muffler and removed the factory packing and installed the Thermal Zero packing and it now has a good throaty sound, still loud enough, but not as loud as it was. I have since put 2000 miles on the bike and it hasn’t changed at all. (The good sound) This is good stuff, I highly recommend it.

Nice and thick
Fit my toomey silencers with some left over. Going on 3 years now with the same packing in my CPI silencers.

Nice packing but A LOT blew out in less than 5 minutes
The media could not be loaded. Felt nice and firm, packed easily into the mufflers - wrapped nice. I was shocked to see the PLUME of fiber when I started the bike - BLEW a TON of fibers out in 30 seconds... Suspect this may not last very long. See Video. Hadn't even DRIVEN the bike yet - that was just starting it and revving up a couple times... There was what almost looked like FOG.NOTE I Wrapped the inserts on Rinehart pipes like pictured

Not much material, but it's good stuff
Good price for ceramic muffler packing. Easier to pack tightly and reinstall than fiberglass in my opinion. But only giving 4 stars because their claim of "enough for 1 automotive muffler or 2 motorcycle mufflers" is incorrect. It wasn't even enough to repack one muffler on my motorcycle. I had to reuse some of the old fiberglass to fill the last few inches.

Made my Harley quieter
I wraped my bassani baffles and it made them sound a lot quieter. I had been running with the baffles just bare metal for too long i think. It sounds good, but i like loud pipes for commuting.

YMMV. No structure to the packing. But, might work depending on your application
Disclosure: I'm trying find a cheap way to repack a Supertrapp moto exhaust. This stuff was cheap. Supertrapp replacement is nearly $100 shipped....This packing initially is held together well when you unfold it. So you are able to measure and cut it to size. But it easily loses it structure and really just becomes loose insulation. Kinda like you would find in a pillow. It blew out the muffler in micro pieces upon firing up the bike. when I took the muffler apart there were big gaps....You're application might be different and this might work for you, but I need a packing that stays connected in one contiguous piece.

A cut above glass packings
Easy to work with, wrapped my two stroke pipe quickly and this fresh packing brought back my bottom end performance.

This muffler cloth improved the sound of my exhaust
It took one sheet for each muffler. I have 3 1/2 in Rinehart slip ons on Vance & Hines dresser duals. The muffler cloth deduced the decibels from 124 to 114 at muffler end according to the ap on my iPhone. The sound went from a metallic sound to a low rumble which is what I had hoped would happen.
