Lovely hardwood, works well to tenderize meat

Pretty good. I got tired of the gross aluminum ones.

Head of mallet was heavy and solid wood, but handle was cheap and snapped off prior to using it on any meat.

Its a good quality mallet but handle comes off often, can still use it with workaround.

Nice size and weight. Works well using all sides. Oiled it and the finish is great now. Do not put in the dishwasher.

I have used both steel and wooden mallets for tenderizing meat. They both work however, the steel mallet tends to compress the meat while the wooden one tenderizes and allows the meat to breathe.

Nach etwa 5 Wochen ist ein sehr enttäuschendes Teil aus mehreren Holzstücken schlecht zusammengeleimt angekommen. Siehe Bild. Für Lebensmittel wie Fleisch ist ein derartiges Teil nicht zu gebrauchen. Billig ist tatsächlich nur billig.

Got it with no problem. It has a good weight on it. Feels good when beating my meat (😏). Jokes aside, my only problem is the joining from the handle to the head feels like it won't last if you use the hammer hard as I can see the paste that was applied and im not sure if the joining was nailed/screwed or just pasted. So i am being careful on using it.

This is perfect. Works great it’s light easy to clean ..

On the 3 rd pound of a chicken breast, the handle broke. First time using this, and I was not pounding hard. Will not recommend this! Waste of money, and I am not happy about it.
