You can go back and forth between the horizontal and the vertical positions and always have MATCHED LIGHT. An average product
I was looking for something like this to soften light with least loss in amount of light and eliminate Flash bracket. It works well at short distances but mounting is clumsy. Vertical shots create noticeable shadow, of course, better than direct flash. You can not make it fit on Nikon SB900 and SB910 flashes. I tried to use it with Nikon SB900 using Velcro strap but keeps falling. It is a good product but needs some development.

Probably one the best Diffusers on the market
My mentor uses this and i used it as well. I have 3 of them and its one of the best diffusers esp in events and no ceilings (to bounce on). Its gives a soft edge on the shadows and its similar to studio lights.Great buy.PS you need a velro strap for your flash for this to work.

Very good strobe modifier
This is probably the best flash modifier there is on the market! Unlike some other products, the Shell is easy to use ib both portrait and landscape mode, no light is lost to the back as all light is bounced foreward and the light is nicely diffused so much more even lighting and less harsh shaddows! Last week we took a group photo with 80 children at the school musical and ghe pictures came out very well! The only minus is that the Shell is a bit bulky for carrying around, but the light quality it produces very much makes up for this.
