Sweet Dreams, Maisy

This adorable book has been a godsend at bedtime. Maisy starts out the day playing with her friends and then after witnessing sunset and the appearance of the moon and the stars, Maisy goes through her bedtime routine, which nicely aligns with our own routine (and, I imagine, most kids' bedtime routines). There are several short to-the-point bedtime cues: "At sunset, the day ends," "The world is going to sleep," "It's time to go to bed." My only gripe--and I say this half-jokingly--is that as usual kitty is present in every image, but is never acknowledged in the text. We make it a point to include kitty in all of the bedtime activities (reading a book, climbing upstairs, listening to a song).

My 22 year old has gone mad for Maisy. I never thought books about a mouse would be THIS appealing! We got Sweet Dreams Maisy about a month ago and just like all the bedtime Maisy books, she just loves it for bedtime. The simple language still has a mellowing cadence that makes my daughter peaceful, sleepy and quiet. When we turn to the last page of just stars, she looks at me and whispers "goo night...." and smiles. And then makes me read it again and again. This is a great goodnight book.

So cute, as always fun Maisy for my darling little grandaughter.

This was a new baby gift. We enjoy sharing Maisy stories with friends and relatives who are new parents because we know how much fun they are to read.

We had this book on loan from the local library for a long time, but when it came time to return it we decided we needed to add it to our collection permanently. A cute story. I'll probably order a second copy eventually for my daughter as well because I can't bear taking it away from my son. We'll see if he grows out of it or not. Sweet Dreams, Maisy!

LOve Lucy Cousins books! I‘m a teacher and my kiddos love her books.

Nice book, not as good as some of the other Maisy books (some of the language is a little strange - "moonshine"?) and my kiddo prefers others. Probably just personal preference though. Try it at the library first if you can to see if it keeps your little one's attention before buying.

My 5 month old daughter loves Maisy. The dark outlines and bold colors keep her attention better than any other books bedtime. My husband and I like to read 4 books to our daughter at bedtime and I like to make sure at least one is a bedtime themed book. Sweet Dreams Maisy is a short and sweet story. It's one of our favorite books in our bedtime book rotation.

All of my children have had this book as a baby/toddler so I was so happy to find a new copy on amazon as our old one was very loved! It's a gorgeous, short little bedtime story.

Includes the artwork we love from the show. The story/writing could’ve been better and more creative though.

Maisy does it again. Can't go wrong with a Maisy book in my house.

After only two readings the pages were coming apart.The story is nice and children enjoy the bright colours and artwork.
