A life saver, maybe literally...
I’m hesitant to say that I almost didn’t buy this product. Getting a little spoiled at home with the Baby Brezza Formula Pro , I did not want to have to prepare bottles on the go. I had tried portable bottle warmers with pre-made bottles and it just took too long. My baby has horrible GERD and gas which makes him colic so we have been back and forth to doctors, hospitals and specialists over the past 2 months. The last thing I wanted to do was add fuel to the fire by making little man wait while we tried to warm his bottles on the go. It wouldn’t have been fair to him and his screams might have shattered the windows out of the buildings we frequented. So I relented and after looking at eons of formula/snack containers on Amazon, I kind of just got overwhelmed and chose this one because I liked the colors. I have never used any other formula containers before so I have nothing really to compare this to, but my fiancé and I love this thing. At the time we used the plastic Dr. Brown's Options Bottles (now we use Dr. Brown's Options Wide Neck Glass Bottles ) so we purchased some caps from Amazon and pre-filled our bottles with distilled water. Not knowing how long we would be gone most of the time we pre-filled each of the 4 containers with premeasured formula depending on which formula we were using at the time. However, I like that you can separate the containers and bring/use as many as you want. When it was time to make the bottle, all we had to do was add the powder by using the little funnel part of this set and VOILA – a little shake and in 10 seconds or less our bottle was made. Although we always usually warm bottles at home because of his sensitive tummy, he didn’t seem to mind the room temperature water.SUPER EASY.When I first got this I was a little nervous that the individual components might not screw on easily or correctly. I’ve had many mishaps with gadgets, but in this case I worried for nothing. You just click each individual container onto the next and then turn until you can turn no further. There will definitely be no spillage or components randomly getting loose. When the time comes to make a bottle, use the clear funnel part and insert into neck of bottle. With a little tap, your scoop(s) of formula will magically descend into the bottle.TIP: Always put formula into premeasured water. If you put the formula in first (as my fiancé thought was ok) and then pour water in the bottle your measurements will be off – unless you have your water premeasured. If you do formula first then you can’t accurately know how many ounces of water you are putting in. Also, the formula will clump on the bottom. My baby daddy didn’t think either of this was a big deal but when you have a very sensitive baby who writhes in agony from gas and reflux EVERYTHIING is a big deal and I prefer to be precise. In fact, if it wasn’t for buying this formula dispenser – my baby might have gotten water poisoning. He had been struggling with bottles and squirming and his gas and reflux were EXTRA horrible after we got our second Baby Brezza formula pro. A month ago we were at the hospital with him all day and we brought our nifty formula dispenser with us. We noticed that he wasn’t acting as miserable with the hand mixed bottles. His Daddy and I were PERPLEXED.I got to thinking and realized that the only variable that had changed (besides the environment) was that we were not using the Brezza’s. I immediately went home and dissected the machines and ran a water test. The second Brezza we got was dispensing anywhere from half of an ounce to almost an ounce more water than what the setting called for and we (including my doctors) suspect that the extra water over time was making him sick. So really this product was a godsend for all of us and it made my fiancé think twice about water and formula ratios…I will be using our ZoLi exclusively for formula on the go now. And when he gets a little older we will graduate to using it as a snack cup and maybe after that we’ll use it for arts and crafts. Maybe containers for finger paints? Also, it’s decently sized. I didn’t check the specs before buying but I envisioned it being smaller. I like that it can be accommodating yet compact. It easily fit in my diaper bag, both the handbag version and my backpack version (while still leaving me plenty of space for all of my other baby items).I did not realize that you could buy lids for these separately ZoLi On-the-Go 3 Piece Formula and Snack Dispenser Lid Set . That kind of sucks but it is what it is. Not really going to take off a star. But I do feel that things like lids should be part of the product package. Even with Dr. Brown bottles (which I love) – I feel a bit annoyed that I had to buy all the lids separately.Obviously not a deal breaker though, so I definitely give this a HUGE thumbs up.

3 kids later and this is a MUST!
We bought 1 for our first kid and it lasted so long and now in kid number 3 we figured we need to buy another one. We put snacks, formula, and treats for our kiddos in them. It’s the prefect size, durable, and easy to open. We love Zoli brand!

Bigger than I thought it would be; works great.
I had been debating between the Zo-Li On-The-Go Travel Formula & Snack Dispenser and the Innobaby Packin' SMART Formula Dispenser and Snack Case - Sweet Honeydew, iParenting Media Award Winner for Best Products 2007 , and ended up getting the Zo-Li because it was the first one to be available (at the time) with Amazon Prime. To be honest, I loved the idea and was so jazzed with the item that I paid NO attention to the size of the container. I just assumed (wrongly, it turns out) that it was a tall and skinny container. I know the containers I currently use for formula (the smaller size of the Powdered Formula Dispenser Combo Pack , although taller!) and was expecting it to be about that size. So you can imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw just how big the Zo-Li was!! I uploaded photos to show the size...but it is 3" wide and 8" tall!! It's HUGE! I don't remember seeing the dimensions listed in the product information section...but honestly, even if they were, I didn't pay attention because I was just so enamored with this container! As far as it taking up less room than say, the more common Philips Avent Formula Dispenser / Snack Cup, BPA-Free ...well, overall it doesn't because it's a bigger container, LOL, but it's a more consistent shape which makes it seem like it takes up less space. But it's not NEARLY the space savings I had anticipated. It's smaller in diameter but about 2.5 times the height! That said, even with the size, this thing is great. It says it can hold formula for an 10oz bottle...and it can! The actual formula dispenser piece just fits on the top-most container (so, if you had formula in other layers, you would just need to rotate layers so the formula was on the top). It would also make a great toy (once empty) since the layers can be mixed and matched in any order. As far as construction...the pieces unscrew VERY easily (it's only about 1/8 of a turn, which worried me--but I tried to pull them apart and they stayed tightly together) and they screw together fairly easily (to be honest, about half the time, I have to unscrew a layer to try and re-thread it correctly). The plastic is very heavy-duty in both appearance and feel. The formula dispenser portion works nicely, but as with any other dispenser, you do have to tap it a few times to get everything out (but since it is angled, everything easily does come out).I do wish it came in a choice of colors (or all clear)--which is one thing I liked about the Innobaby.Overall, I would highly recommend this item!

Contenitori
Utilizzo questi contenitori soprattutto per i cibi solidi e sono funzionali. Per i liquidi non so, temo sempre un po' che esca tutto. Solitamente per i liquidi utilizzo la Tupperware.
