I've had this little light for going on three years now and it's still going. I work in golf course maintenance so I have put this thing through a lot. Before this one I killed four other flashlights that couldn't survive a quarter of what this one has. It has developed a very significant flicker though after a recent incident involving a diesel filled tank on a tractor and a very large magnet used to get it out so I do not believe the flicker is due to poor build quality. On the contrary, it has been dropped, stepped on, rained on, and did I mention dropped? Yeah, dropped countless times and it still continues to work. I only have to charge it once a month with heavy use and it charges quickly. I carry this on my belt right next to my multi-tool and cannot imagine my work life without it anymore. I do think I will be replacing it with the Nebo Swyvel as I think having that extra functionality will come in handy but I will say this light is tough as nails and bright as the sun. I can light up an entire fairway with this little beast. I'd recommend it to anyone needing a light that is insanely bright, tough, with good battery life, small, lightweight, and of absolutely fantastic build quality. I cannot say enough about this light, and how much I absolutely love it. I bought one for each of the guys I worked with at my last course it is so good and they love it just as much as I do.

Third one I've bought, these guys are darn near indestructible. All of them still work and hold charge, fits in my belt loop, brightness is awesome especially in such a small package.

I love this little guy. He's bright, tiny, convenient, looks pretty neat, and didn't cost a fortune. Unfortunately, torchy ain't perfect. He's got two glaring faults that keep him from reaching 5-star status. 1) The "smart memory" feature, or whatever they want to call it, is pretty much useless and only serves to complicate use. A vastly superior alternative would be to instant-off whenever the light has been on for more than 5 seconds. Simple, easy to understand, functional. Instead, we have this wonky system where it remembers the last light setting you used, if you used it for more than 8 seconds, and then turned it off... but only every other activation. Excuse me but what? 2) The magnetic charger. It's a lovely idea and I really want to like it... I DO like it, but I also hate it. I hate that the cable is about 1 foot long, meaning it is never long enough put on anything other than directly on the floor. Kinda defeats the purpose of a quick docking pocket light if you gotta stash it under your furniture for its required frequent recharges doesn't it? This guy belongs on your nightstand or on your desk where you can grab him at a moment's notice, and that is precisely where you CANNOT keep him, because of that silly short cable. Furthermore, since the connector is proprietary and the cable is fixed, good luck if you ever misplace or damage it. Torchy is as good as dead at that point, which is a real shame, because the light itself is built like a tank. Problem 1 is an annoyance that can be lived with. It shouldn't exist, and can and should be easily fixed with a firmware flash to onboard controller (something you and I can't realistically do, but which could be easily done at the factory for all future production). Problem 2, however, is a more serious problem, and it is my opinion that nebo ought to seriously consider a solution. I'd suggest slightly scaling up the magnetic connector to accommodate a usb-c port, so that users can plug in their own cables and replace them as necessary. I'd also include 2 such charger pucks instead of 1 in every box, or alternatively, sell the magnetic induction charging pucks separately so users can buy replacements.

I use this little flashlight at work and works better than expected. I haul cars and I clip it to my hat so I can look at vin numbers and check for damages or I can use as a hand held device. Very versatile and it is bright and powerful..

I love these little torches so much that I bough two more, one for my wife, and one as a backup. The only thing I can say is WOW! For such a small hand torch, the brightness is incredible. If you turn it to high, they claim it's 500 lumens. I have no way to measure it, but it is really bright! If you put it in Turbo mode (1000 lumens) the brightness will surprise you, though it will only stay in Turbo mode for 30 seconds. The battery lasts a good long time with intermittent use. I have taken mine camping, and I had plenty of power for my needs over a long weekend. If I just leave it on my desk and use it as needed at home, the battery lasts for a month or more. Charging is easy with the included USB C magnetic charger. If you need a small, hand-held torch, I can't recommend the Tourchy highly enough!

This light is awesome for the prices you can not beat it, I am a master automotive technician for Hyundai so in are field we uses lots of flash lights and flash light types and brands and I am telling you this light is great get it. It's super super brighter,it has a magnet charger so nice, it's a magnet light so you can just magnet it to any metal object to hold it for you when your working like in a car,it's very small so pocket size which is good for inspection of cars that is like looking in on brakes,fits in tight spaces like under a dash no problem I can go on for hours how good this light is like if you have a dumb dumb day and lost it like we all do it's around 26.00 to 40.00 to replace it not 100.00 to 400.00 like a snapon brand light and others so you maybe upset you lost it but not that upset like if you lost a snapon or other brand. The only two downsides I have with this light which are not the end of the world things is it does get hot at times on high setting and if you drop it I do not believe it's shock proof or resistance, I drop mine and the light did not work anymore but it did drop from a higher then normal level but my second one I dropped from a not so high level and it still working but it's a fair price for the light so worse case just buy a replacement if you drop it by mistake worse case you get two magnet charges now like I have. :). Buy it!

While this flashlight came highly recommended and seems to have good build quality, it stopped working very quickly. First off, the charging option for this flashlight is proprietary and finicky. DO NOT BUY if you want to have easy, universal charging. If you lose the included cable, you are OUT OF LUCK. This means that it is NOT a good option for travelling, camping, or survival kits. Secondly, and the reason for this review...I had this sitting on the shelf in my room. No exposure to fluids, food, impact shock, or electrical discharge. I needed it one night and it wouldn't turn on. I went to charge it and after being on the charger for 2 days, it would flicker and malfunction as if there was an internal short circuit. I will NEVER buy another flashlight that has a proprietary method of charging (that one is MY fault for not researching thoroughly) After this experience with Nebo, I will be VERY reluctant to consider any of their products moving forward. Edit 11/20/25 This flashlight gets worse and worse DO NOT BUY!!! I cannot stress enough how disappointing this flashlight is: The proprietary charging magnetic cord thing is already a deal breaker: PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS Now the power switch barely works. Keep in mind, I BARELY use this flashlight, it is kept inside, has never experienced fall, shock, or extreme temperatures. I kept it because when it does light up, it is bright for its size, but now...it is SO unreliable that I can literally walk over to where I have a different flashlight before I can get this one to turn on. It's incredibly glitchy. Please stay away from it.

Su iluminación en modo turbo es excelente, aunque solo son 30 segundos, te permite un claro panorama general de lo que tienes enfrente. Pero el modo alto, es más que suficiente, para no entrar en modo turbo. Para condiciones normales, siempre la traigo en el más bajo, con lo cual es suficiente para alumbrar delante de ti el camino. Su tamaño, su imán y su facilidad de carga, la hacen ideal para tu EDC.

I always come back to this little torch when I need one to walk the dogs. It’s small and fits nicely in my pocket. It’s bright with different settings, to adjust between settings is easy there is only one button, there is a memory built in to turn on in the last setting used. There is a clip with it. It’s Well made and very neat…I have bough two.
