Was decent but always leaked. Bad mounting system.
I probably would have given this shower system at least 4 stars but sadly I've had to uninstal it after it ruined my drywall. Its a nice little unit that I did enjoy using. My only complaint was that it could use a little more flow and there's no easy way to modify it for that. The fatal flaw in my case however was that it always leaked from where the unit mounts to the wall. There's an adapter piece with 2 o-rings and the unit slides onto that and mounts to a plate. Since day 1 it has leaked from that connection. I should have uninstalled it sooner but it was only a little dribble. Then i noticed the unit starting to lean away from the wall and some bubbling behind the painted drywall and I knew i had serious trouble. You can't just simply uninstal the system either. You're forever going to have the mounting holes in your wall.Maybe on a tiled wall this would be OK. Or maybe if you add some extra grease to the orings to help seal them up better. But I would not reccomend this.

Build quality questionable - Extension for shower head is not straight, otherwise good.
Dislikes:Extension for shower head is not vertically straight and tilts forward as the head is large. It should be perfectly vertical to the wall. Rating it on this. Maybe ours is defective. On the fence:The steam vents are way too high for anyone not 6 feet, these will spray you in the face so you may want to rethink how high you mount this on the wall (if you have a standard shower head off the floor at the recommended height - I am 5'9" and hubby 6'3" so OK for him, not for me). I was aware this might be a problem when reviewing the dimensions and manufacturer's instructions and the rating is not based on this, but mention as others have (another warning to consider this and not ignore -- you have to judge what works for you). The rain shower head is 'way' high for me, but the height you mount it will make all the difference. We could mount ours lower, but that will wait on a bath remodel.Build quality otherwise seems good. This has only been installed for a month so I can't comment on the finish durability.Likes:The rain head is a good size, pivots so you can decide the orientation for your space, and for a smaller space the height and depth from the wall works very well to both allow for the rain head to be above your head while standing comfortably underneath with room to move around - while not too far out - so you can step away from the overhead spray.Performs well. The pressure for the handheld is good, and you can switch between the different modes pretty easily (if you aren't being sprayed in the face). You can run 2 different settings at once - e.g. the rain and steam, or steam and handheld, but your water pressure will be split between the 2 modes. I have an older home and it works as well as the former we'd had installed when using a single spray from one of the options. For the handheld, we had an existing one with a vertical bar mount and kept the bar mount to allow it to use the existing mounting hook for easy use as a second shower head spray at the desired height (the hook on the mount pivots and adjusts height to allow for a good angle). The company does make a similar bar, but not with a pivoting hook quite like ours. With this modification, I have the advantage of using the handheld as a shower spray that is just high enough to work well, and strong enough to rinse shampoo/conditioner out well. The magnet to hold the handheld is good. Holds the handheld decently, even with the additional weight of the hook section from our former mount. We have an odd space for the bathtub / shower with a slanted ceiling and this was the best option in a rainfall, spray combo for our needs and the space. The company makes a couple other options and I recommend checking the company site before purchase. I have another odd-shaped shower and will consider buying from this company again if i can find something that will work.

Best shower I’ve ever had
Not sure how this can’t be a five star product. I have never had a shower experience like this one. Even those fancy hotels don’t compare to this showerhead. We did have somebody professionally install however he said it wasn’t that difficult. He was done within 20 minutes. He said the most difficult part would be drilling into the tile if you don’t have the right tools. The rainfall was very heavy and the jets were very soothing. And the handheld worked perfectly With both settings. You can move the pole or tilt of the rain shower head in many different directions. The only thing and I mean only thing that I didn’t like was rain Showerhead was made out of plastic versus a metal. However I can’t afford a $500 shower but now I feel like I have one.

Nice shower head upgrade, easy install but lots of plastic
I wanted to raise the shower head height and add a hand-held attachment. I also wanted a larger shower head so I didn't need to move left and right to get water on the left vs right shoulder. This PULSE unit fit the bill. I think the 11" x 4" shower head distributes the water better (over the body) than a round head. 2.5 gpm flow is a huge plus compared to 1.8 gpm.The "no drill" installation was easy. First, I used plenty of teflon tape on the pipe fitting that threaded into the existing female pipe fitting in the wall. Then I put a small piece of paper towel under the pipe fitting in the wall (more on this later). There's no need to disassemble to mounting plate from the flow manifold before installing. I cleaned the mounting plate surface and the shower tile surface with rubbing alcohol before applying the adhesive. I applied the adhesive (about 1/2 the tube) to the back side of the mounting plate and slide the manifold assembly over the double-o-ring fitting adapter in the wall, use a bubble level to make sure the assembly was level and pressed hard against the wall for about 1 minute. After drying for 48 hours, I finished the assembly and flowed water for about 1 minute. I took the manifold off the wall and checked the piece of paper towel I installed earlier. It was dry so no leaks in the wall! I put everything back together. Using it confidently knowing there isn't a leak in the wall. The AquaPower Spray doesn't really work for me. I think its because my mounting height is too high. I'm 5'-10" so it might be effective for someone that is 6' plus. The AquaPower does a good job of steaming up the shower though.Lots of plastic in this product. The only metal parts are the pipe fittings, overhead pipe and diverter valve. But the manifold is all plastic and the chrome covering on the manifold is plastic. The hand wand and shower head is plastic. The top surface of the 11" shower head isn't chromed covered. It's white plastic. Looks "cheap" but its mounted so high that no one will ever see it.
