Protective helmet designed for use while playing sports or for various types of medical applications. The unique web shell of this helmet provides both comfort and safety. It is made with 3/8-inch thick EVR rubber foam that absorbs and then disperses the energy throughout the headgear. Playmaker headgear helps prevent lacerations and contusions and allows for 100% peripheral vision. Adjustable laces at the back of the helmet and hook and loop chin strap help achieve a custom fit. It is lightweight, breathable, and hand washable. Playmaker headgear can also be custom silk screened.

Really make sure to measure the users head, but it is soft and does its job for our toddler
We purchased this because our 18 month old has severe head banging episodes, sometimes lasting 30 minutes and gets violent if you try and interrupt them. We really should have gotten the xsmall, his head measured just at the smallest measurement listed for the size small so we got the small. It does its job and as long as tightened to its absolute fullest it is mostly secure, maybe slight movement, but it works to not have him bloody his forehead.

don't like the color
I fall frequently because I have Parkinsons but I found out that they make many other colors so this one is out. Can't see myself wandering around in a Purple helmet.

Great product!
This product is pricey but a great product. It breathes so the head doesn't sweat even when worn to bed and sleeping. Totally does the job of protecting the head including forehead. Doesn't look bad either like so many others I looked at.
