Only if you add a second system. This system has eight (8) dedicated channels with frequency specific transmitters (body packs). Note that if you add a second system, the frequencies must be different.

What type of speaker do I need to connect this to?

You can connect this to any speaker with XLR or 1/4-inch plug connections and a built-in amplifier (also called a "powered speaker"). This unit does not put out enough power to work directly with a speaker which needs does not have an amplifier built in (or one that is only blutooth or wifi connected). This unit is actually intended to be used with an audio mixing controller (called an audio mixer or a mixing board/desk) and then sent to an amplifier+speaker or powered speaker.

I believe it can. The receiver has XLR male connectors for each channel (8) and will connect to a standard mixer channel via XLR cable.
