I searched for one of these for quite a while before I found this one. My 2008 BMW requires a BMW adapter to use my i phone for music through the original BMW stereo. The BMW adapter terminates with a male lightning connector which not long enough to use with the Vanva car mount (reviewed elsewhere). This cord with male and female lightning connectors works great and makes my use of the i phone much more convenient.

I'd worried that this wouldn't work with my external earphones, since they have their own in-cable DAC and therefore, unlike EarPods, aren't expecting pre-processed audio. It works perfectly, making me a very happy camper. One catch/caveat: the order of connection matters. If you plug this extension into the phone, and then plug your device into the extension, the phone won't recognize the device. You have to connect your device to the extension first, and then plug the combination into the phone.

Just what I needed! Extremely useful for all Lightning capable devices.

I bought this because the waterproof case of my IPhone8 prevented me from connecting my other accessories to the lightning port. This item solved that problem for me. It’s a bit long for the purpose but can be dealt with and becomes an advantage in some occasions.

Working great, although only had it about 1 week… solved an intermittent connection problem in my car with my iPhone vs the last cable. If it lasts, then it’ll be great. If not, I’ll come back and update my review wink😉

I’m using this on a Bose docking station connected to an apple 12 pin to lightning adaptor. Works perfectly and can use my iPhone while it’s plugged into the Bose unit. A must have if you are set up in an office or man cave like me!

It worked great for a few weeks. Paired w/ a Shure microphone. In fact, I ordered an additional one to lengthen to 12 feet for organ and piano recording. But, then both stopped working. So, now I have to plug the microphone directly into the device again.

Perfect! Needed it to be able to connect the 30 pin to new 10 pin. Needed the length so I could set my phone down on the table and not have to connect to the stereo direct.
