They have ensured me that I have just received a defective lighter and the replacement is in the mail now. I will post another update when I receive the replacement, however if it the battery problem is fixed I couldn’t ask for a better lighter. I’ve had it for a few days now and other than the battery issue the thing is amazing.I want to like this lighter so bad, and I do for the most part, however the battery life on my lighter is terrible. I’m not a very heavy smoker (about half a pack/day) and by the time I get home from work the battery is just about dead from a full charge in the morning. I’m not sure if maybe I received a defective lighter but all the other brands that sell very similar products boast about battery life that lasts all week.
