Review: love them! I recommend :) - LOVE THEM! I have had them for about 4 years now. They are absolutely beautiful, different colors, easy to connect to the app; unfortunately they do not connect with Alexa :( but they do come with a remote control and obviously the app. Plenty of different modes, customizable color preference. You are able to brighten and dim the lights to your desire! There are other features like music sensor, disco mode, flickering mode, etc. The Adhesion on them is wonderful but before careful for those who have solid painted walls the adhesive does peel the paint, if you have popcorn walls it will be okay! They do stick to everything pretty well though from tiles to wood to walls to metal parts very well.
Review: Easy to install and use Govee 5 meter - I have had these lights about 28 days so far and have them installed under our kitchen cabinets. I actually bought both the BT (which I am writing the review for) and the WiFi enabled one as well. Overall so far I am very happy with these and at the price point with what I really wanted I feel these are worth it. I only wanted to get some accent light under our cabinets. I know some reviews say you cannot cut the light strip which in fact you can along the designated cut strips and splice them together. Or cut to the desired length if want it shorter than the 16 feet. I bought a kit that had some connectors and jumper cables for under the cabinets. I saw a few people mention there is no timer in the app and they returned the item. One thing I really like about the BT vs the WiFi is that there are 2 timer options so you can run one at night and one in the morning or whatever preference you have. I have not had an issue the adhesive at this point as some have mentioned. With that kit I mentioned earlier I did get some small plastic clips that I may have use in the future to help secure the light strips if they start to fall down. The white light really does not get white or does have somewhat of blue hue to it. However my walls are a light grey so that may play into it a little. I do feel the option to turn these more to a soft white is better. But that is my opinion. The color selection overall is ok and I think most people will be happy with the options. The brightness over all is pretty good but do not expect it to light up a 15x20 room. I mean these are $20-$25 dollar light strips. The option to sync to music my kids love and while these are not professional led dance lights they do a good job for residential, just make the mic is in a good location to pick up the music. The one thing that I do not really like and this is on my set up. I run a Wyze smart plug with a motion sensor trigger to one of my light strips. When the motion sensor triggers the plug to turn on the light strip goes through the sequence of flashing red, green, blue which is a little annoying. But the light does retain its last color or scene. And the result was the same with both the BT and WiFi led strip lights. Wrap up - I bough one of each of the 16 footer light strips one is BT only (Which this review is for) and the other led strip is the WiFi. I bought two different strips because I wanted to run 2 different color of lights for patty’s and holidays. Over all I am happy with both and have not had issue with anything. I felt like these were easy to install and easy to use via the app. The color selection is ok overall but meets our needs. I I think the blues, purple, red and green are the best true colors. Which makes sense since they are RGB. I am still giving this 5 stars because it has met my needs and functions as describe. Order them and if you do not like them send them back.

A: Yes, you can download "Govee Home" APP for phone control

**Q: Can I buy more led strips to add to one i have already? Without having to buy another adapter or remote?**
A: If you buy Led Strips from Amazon, they'll likely come with the adapter and remote. Buying more, means having a surplus of remotes to decorate your house with. Hang those remotes on the wall, don't you know how fancy they look? you'd blow away all your friends with such amazing decoration. Koom by yah.

**Q: If I cut it down, will the cut strip still light up so I can put the lights on different furniture ?**
A: If you cut the strip the only way to make the cut piece work is by attaching it using the 4 pin connectors they mention. If you are want to use on seperated pieces of furniture it would be better if you bought separate strips.

**Q: Are these individually addressable?**
A: No these are considered dumb RGB LED's in pixel world. Individually addressable Pixels require a chip for each light, which is visible in pictures. The sample picture of the spool being different colors is misleading.
