Good products perform well and provide good value. Great products perform amazingly and provide ridiculous value. This is a great product. It's design and function is specifically aimed at airbrush enthusiasts, and the value, quality, and functionality are outstanding. Easy to use straight out of the box, just a great piece of worksmanship. The added touches such as a retractable handle, airbrush holders, and rubber feet which reduce "walking" show they understand their audience. Additionally I bought this based on decibels, I was looking for sound mitigation, this has it in spades. This is an amazing air source to push your paints with consistent pressure and minimal maintenance and sound.

I've been using this for a couple of months now, and it has been a rock solid upgrade for my airbrush work. It gets to the right pressure quickly and reliably, and the take lets it stay at that pressure basically endlessly. It's also really quiet. I didn't realize how important that was coming from a very loud compressor, but it's been a huge quality of life improvement. I can barely hear it when I'm a couple of rooms away. which my family appreciates! Very happy with my purchase.

Difficult for me to understand the negative reviews over this compressor setup. My experience has been nothing but positive. I am a scale model builder and this compressor was purchased for the painting of models. I purchased it to replace my aging but still working Badger tankless compressor. First, the compressor setup is of VERY good quality and comes fully assembled ready to use right out of the box. The anodized blue finish on the compressor and black on the air tank was flawless. All assembly points and possible air leak points were tightly sealed. The compressor rapidly filled the tank and MOST impressive was that even at 40lb PSI the compressor could keep up without a drop in pressure even after the tank was depleted. (I never use over 40 lbs. when painting.) At lower pressures around 30 PSI the compressor rapidly refilled the tank and shut off indicating that it was easily keeping up with the air loss in the tank. The pressure regulator comes fitted with the water separator all tightly sealed with a push button drain valve on the bottom making emptying of catch bottle simple and easy. As far as noise, it was a bit more quiet than my old Badger. It gets a bit louder when the tank is at nearly full pressure (which most compressors tend to do) but still quiet enough to not be in the least bit obtrusive. I don't think I could give ay compressor a 5 star rating unless I could barely hear it run or it came in a sound proof enclosure. I WOULD NOT recommend this compressor for a beginner. A beginner would not need this type of compressor to learn how to air brush. Start with air cans and move up. Instructions are minimal maybe with the idea that the purchaser has experience with this type of compressor. Personally, I barely looked at them because I didn't need them. But read them for the purpose of this review. I noticed in some reviews where people said the air pressure adjustment didn't work. Maybe because they didn't know that the adjustment knob needs to be unlocked first by pulling it up. THIS IS clearly indicated in the instruction manual. (which is essentially only 4 pages) IMPORTANT!: This compressor does come with a short 6 ft. hose but it is designed for MASTER airbrushes ONLY. YOU MUST BUY HOSE ADAPTERS FOR OTHER BRANDS OF AIR BRUSHES! I use Paasche and Badger and needed to buy adapters for both. (Available here on Amazon) I do not own an Iwata (yet) so no idea about those. To summarize, IMO this is a fine air brush compressor and I find the price to be quite reasonable. I have seen similar compressors priced at around $300 and bought this after some minor research and deciding it was worth taking a shot. To say the least, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and hopefully look forward to many years of use.

Great pump, have had no issues whatsoever. It is smaller than I thought. It is lightweight and easy to carry about. Comes in box 13"x14"x6". I was able to get the pump to deliver up to 50psi with no issues. The flow rate is more than adequate for airbrushes. The pump is quiet and I use it in the house with no distraction to others in the house. Parts, components and construction appear to be quality. Though built in China, I would give it the Chinese 5 out of 5 rating. Great prince for a good little pump.

It came packaged nice and neat the sound is quieter than my harbor freight one and the tank is phenomenal at keeping pressure. My only gripe is that the tube that went to the tank from the compressor was leaking and it wouldn’t stop running. With a little tightening I managed to fix it and it was perfect after that. Maybe a bit more quality control but other than that I love it.

A very impressive little compressor, especially for the cost. It's portable, easy to adjust the pressure, and fit my Paasche without requiring any further adapters. The only note of caution is that the O-ring that they include in the hose is *very* pliable - tighten the airbrush all the way and you'll crush the ring to where it closes off the air flow. But as long as you avoid that, it works great.

Wow! I am pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Works great! Looks great! Be sure to drain your tank when not using it. I just unscrew the plug on the very bottom. It is tight so you may need pliers to initially loosen it. But then just hand tight back on. I leave it off when I’m not using it. If you don’t drain your tank, it will rust on the inside. Also, every now and then, press the release valve in the bottom of the moisture trap to let out any water that accumulates. I do this when there is pressure in the tank.

Oh my, do I ever like this little unit! Works absolutely great with all of my 4 air brushes. Plus, it's a LOT quieter than using my big shop compressor, not to mention a heck of a lot more convenient. You won't go wrong with this baby!

Arrived on time and in good condition. It's a great compressor overall keeping the chosen PSI very steady. I've rated four stars because the description says that with the internal cooling system, it should stay cool for a long period of use but it gets very hot on the outside after around two minutes of use. I'm not an expert and maybe it is normal but I find it a bit scary to use it beyond the two minutes straight time of use.

Works fine bit once hot it will lock up. The pressure relief valve is electromagnetic and once it gets hot it weakens and then the compressor stops until pressure drops enough for it to work. Put a fan on it or switch the electromagnetic switch for pneumatic one and problem solved. Only other complaint is the intake filter screens are poorly made and very little air passes through them so the unit works harder than it should. Again easy fix but annoying. Overall if you're somewhat handy at troubleshooting this is fine but unnecessary. My single cylinder unit keeps up and works just as well and is whisper quiet compared to the 4 banger. I'd only recommend it if you cant just use a full size compressor bc of noise or space. Otherwise no real value here aside from being kind of cool design but poor execution lol

I cant get this stupid thing to work properly. I waited too long between recieving it and testing it. Every time it pumps up to pressure and stops, its not able to start pumping again as the pressure drops. Stupid thing. Its also insainly loud.
