This battery charger is awesome! I didn’t know technology had advanced this much with them as I gave up using rechargeable batteries a while ago because they would lose their charge or just not have enough power to last. Now you can get very high powered rechargeable batteries which hold their charge for years even if unused which makes using them much more viable now. Hence now buying new batteries and this charger.I have a lot of battery hungry gadgets now from toys and drones/remote control cars to household cleaners and they all get through batteries quickly. This charger makes life easy because you can mix whichever or however many batteries you need without having to pair them up.I put in some old rechargeable batteries to see what would happen and I was impressed that it found the faulty ones and told me which ones they were! I was instantly able to dispose of them. This charger can also discharge and then charge batteries to make them last longer (just do this from time to time to keep batteries primed).The display shows you the charging status and it has protection to keep everything safe from overcharging. I’m really pleased with this charger and that I will be both helping the environment and saving money by using rechargeable batteries now.

The media could not be loaded.  It's bigger than I expected but works great for me. I use it to charge my Eneloop batteries and it gets the job done without hassle. It is finally nice to have a smart charger that has numerous battery slots so I can charge a large number of them at the same time.It charges each cell individually, and the readout shows the status of each cell, both AAA and AA batteries easily snap into the charger and from there it's all automatic. The screen turns off its blue backlighting when all the batteries are charged, so you can tell from a distance if they are already charged or not.The batteries also don't get too warm when charging, but I have them on a ventilated shelf so it gets plenty of open air.

This unit is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and should be withdrawn from sale! I put 16 NiMH batteries in to charge all the same size and brand ... after 15 minutes I smelt burning... the base has started melting - IF I HAD LEFT THE HOUSE THIS COULD HAVE CASUED A FIRE!

Really easy to use, great visual use of LEDs but unit ceased to charge batteries 16 months after purchase even though lights suggested charging and or charged. Charge didn't hold.

Bought to replace my od Energizer charger which for some reason was not recognising certain batteries, this charger had no issues with the same batteries.Being able to charge up to 16 batteries in one go is good - I was held back with my old charger which had just four slots so this is a great improvement, especially when it comes to charging radio controller batteries and flashguns.There are two clear backlit displays which tell me all I need to know about charging levels and I have even left it on (accidentally) overnight with no adverse effects.Great value

As a someone who regularly tours in a motorhome, I am heavily reliant on AA batteries for so many gadgets. Being able to charge 16 in one go, all in various states of discharge, is a godsend.
