GWCASE Large Hard Case for Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 5000, Case Only

I was looking for a case like this for model MG7970, but couldn’t find one listed, so I took a chance and ordered this one. Everything fits perfectly with the exception of the precision trimming guard. The slot that is left for it after everything else is slightly smaller than the guard, but the foam is flexible enough that it fits well enough. I love that the foam cut-outs are cut specifically to accommodate each type of guard or trimmer. The slots for the fading guards even have a slight angle to accommodate the angle of the fading guards. The only thing I didn’t see a slot for at all, was the comb, and I was able to slip that in the front of the case between the foam and the case. Nice quality, easy to pull the foam square out for customization. It really does work well for the MG7970 as well.

The case is decent and has room for everything that came with my shaving kit. The design could be improved upon to be slimer and more compact. To me there is a weird weight distribution when carrying that makes it feel a little awkward due to the extra unused space. If this was removed, making a more compact case, it would probably make a difference. Other than that nitpick, the case works great, seems durable and a great value. Hands down way better than the default plastic and cardboard box. Definitely recommend.

This will hold everything that the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 All-in-One Trimmer that comes in the box. The case that the trimmer comes with is too small and it will be difficult is searching using the multiple attachments. The good thing is that I searched in Amazon and found the exact case that will work. The pictures show the case the trimmer came with vs the cardboard box that all the accessories that came with the trimmer. Case from GWCASE is very well made and makes it easy to find your accessories. The size I bought was Large.

There is so much that comes with the Norelco Multigroom 700 Series that it is hard to keep the individual combs separate and to know which one you want. This case does the job. It would have been nice to have instructions for the best arrangement. That said, once you figure out a system for storing all the combs and the trimmers you get used to it and can find want you want quickly. It is good and sturdy for travel. It is takes up more space than you may want. So for most travel I use the skimpy cheap case that came with unit for the few attachments needed for the trip. The case is working well for me, other than making it a little more compact, I highly recommend it.

If your grooming kit came from Costco you will not have a slot for each of the accessories that came in the original packaging. The model number of the handheld unit from Costco is MG9526 I think Costco must have managed a special purchase with more that the "normal" amount of accessories than other outlets that sell a Phillips Norelco brand kit. However everything will "fit" in the case. There is a small catch-all cubby hole that the remaining accessories fit in. It is much better than the flimsy storage boxes that came in the original packaging.

Excellent product, but it had an offsetting odor when I first opened it. So I allowed it to vent out in my garage for 24 hours, then the odor was gone. Excellent for organizing and protecting my Philips Trimmer. Very pleased with it.
