These struts work well. They state in the description that they are replacements for UWS toolboxes- this is true, but you do have to replace the "ball" mounts that the strut itself clips on to, both on the body of the box and the lid. The OEM UWS "ball" is way too big to fit in the new struts.The new struts come with the new ball mounts, but they are much larger in diameter on the part that bolts in- the box and lid mounts must be drilled out to accommodate the larger diameter bolt in part of the new mounts. No big deal, just letting others know it is not a direct replacement- some drilling and modification required. Overall satisfied and seems to be a good product.

Just installed on my 2012 skeeter, easy install, seems to work great, now for the durolast test.

These parts wouldn’t compress or decompress. I bought a set, returned those, Amazon sent another, and those didn’t work. Don’t know if I missed something, but I’m not getting any movement out of these parts.
