This is a great bunkbed. We bought the full over full with twin trundle. Be aware that there is a wood support beam that runs under the top bunk. Both my kids hit there head on it right away. HACK: We bought tube insulation with adhesive and put it over the beam for padding then took a full flat sheet and pulled it up under the top bunk slats before screwing them down. There is now no dangerous wood visible under the top bunk.Pros:Compact it's not any longer or wider then our single full bed just taller.Easy assembly very well labeled but only pictures so we had a couple of times we had to switch pieces around.Sturdy which means the boxes are very heavy. I put most of it together at 6 months pregnant but did need my hubby's help at times for balancing and lifting. So easy my 5 year old daughter was able to help with a lot of the screws.Looks beautiful if you like traditional wood.Not super tall so top bunk is roomy.Cons:Wood beam across bottom of top bunk (see above for hack)Not a lot of space between top and bottom bunk if you put a tall matress down there. Approx. 31" between the bottom bunk slats and the top bunk beam.Mattress size reccomedation:Twin Size Trundle 4"-6"Full Size Bottom Bunk less than 10" to help with more head space.Full Size Top Bunk 10" allows for one side slat above side of matress.

Absolutely love this bed. The stairs aren't so durable for kids 7+ but it's still in tact and over all everything else is very durable. It holds good weight as well.

My girls love these bunk beds! I feel like they are pretty sturdy and I liked the fact you can make them two individual beds. I will say the space on the bottom is very small, not much you can do about that besides the thickness of your mattress. I also read another review and was totally greatful for it, there is a wooden bar that the kids can hit their head on on the bottom and we did what we read in that review which was cut a pool noodle and place it over. Other then that we are very happy with it

Bought this bunk bed for an upgrade in my daughters room. It isn’t overwhelmingly bulky like most bunk beds. It is the perfect fit and I love that it is a full over a full! You get a great bed for a good deal. It took a few hours to assemble. It was easy to put together as well. Worth the price!

Product is easy to put together. It takes a bit of time if you are working by yourself, and you will need someone to help you hold pieces or lift the top onto the bottom at some point. Bunk bed is sturdy when it gets put together. Our daughters are little right now so it's plenty sturdy for them. You could easily add another cross piece or plywood for more support as they get older if need be. My wife and daughter were both on the top bunk and it held them easily. They recommend a 6 inch mattress in the top. We currently have an 8 inch mattress at the top. The guardrail might offer a little more protection with the 6 inch mattress if you are worried about that. But it still blocks the kids from rolling out even with an 8 inch mattress.Two pieces were cracked in shipping. Looks like the box got damaged, and so two pieces on the top were split. I communicated with the company and they quickly settled with a partial refund, and I fixed the splits myself. This is what I asked for. They would have refunded the full amount for a return, but we wanted to keep the bunk bed since its difficult to find a full over full bunkbed. They responded quickly via email and agreed. Excellent!

Excellent product. There is a lot to assemble so it takes some time and the bed is big but the plans are clear and easy to follow. The parts are well identified and everything fit perfectly. This is probably the best and most precision made item I have assembled. Very sturdy. Very pleased with it.

Didn’t come with steps for the ladder.
