The stick arrived within 4 days from China. The built quality was surprisingly high. The initial fit of the cap is very tight but this is useful during disassembly when installing the SSD on the inside, since the back cover can be removed more easily this way. What I mean is, remove the two screws either side of the case then hold by the cap an pull the main body cover backwards to reveal the PCB with the M.2 port inside.Overall performance seems to be hover around 120-180MB/s with the USB 3 port on my Lenovo Thinkpad and a Transcend 128 GB SATA III 6Gb/s MTS400 42 mm M.2 SSD. I have seen as much 220MB/s peak on reads. The case gets very hot during IO intensive operations which means it must be acting as a heat sink for the SSD inside. That said there is a small air gap between the SSD and the case which makes me wonder how hot the actual SSD gets in normal use...Overall a great and very useful product esp if you want to for example run an operating system from the USB stick. Why only 4 stars? Because the designers chose a M.2 Sata to USB bridge which does NOT expose trim functionality. While rare, this is technically possible and would have been a nice touch to enhance SSD life and performance when the the stick is used to host a live operating system. One possible but annoying fix would be to occasionally remove the SSD from the stick and mount it in a physical system and execute the trim command then... If the designers were to implement trim functionality on the next iteration of this product it would be perfect and worthy of 5 stars.

Purchased two units, one arrived with a canted usb plug the other was fine. After a few reads/writes with the defective adapter the data rates dropped dramatically. I will not be purchasing anymore of these converters from this manufacturer.

This adapter works great. I put in a 256GB SSD and now I have a cheap high capacity FASSSSSSST flash drive.

Updated: be sure your m2 is not NVME or it won't work with this. I didn't realize there are so many different standards used in m.2 drives so check before you buy.My M2 (intel 600 ssd) did not work with this. Win 10 would not recognize when plugged in.

Arrived in a clear wrap with no box or instructions. Installing a drive is simple enough if you're familiar with m.2 slots, and the casing opens with two phillips head screws. There's a slight bit of play in the internals sitting in the case, but otherwise it's a sleek little metal device that does what it's supposed to.

他レビュアー様のレビューでも言及されていたのですが、横にネジが付いているタイプではなく前面にネジがあるタイプで少し大きめのサイズのものが届きました。Raspberry Piで使いたいので、少しでも小さいものをと思って商品写真に期待して購入したのですが、悲しいです。返品手続きは行いましたが、着払いで返送してちゃんと全額返金されるのかどうか不安です。こちらに非は無いのですが、元払いで返品しようと思います。購入をオススメしません。ただ、他レビュアー様の画像の通り、少し筐体が大きいものが届くので、排熱効果は少しだけ高いかもしれません。使えないことはないと思います。商品写真とは違う商品が届きます（大事なことなので2回言いました）
